8 out of 16 contestants are from the South. I don't think there's ever been near that many from that region. Jeff seems to like the southerners, in
general.
4 of the 16 are from Southern California (relatively low for recent seasons, I believe). 2 from New York. 1 from Wisconsin, and 1 from Utah. |

It wouldnt have killed them to put an asian girl and a spanish guy on making it 18 with 6 minorites (with carolina, Jerry, taj, candice, and now asian girl and
spanish guy)
but I do love 16 it feel more like survivor. I just wish they really used unknown people. This is kind of crazy. Its like a joke on us. |

well the latest popularity poll proves my point that most mactors are boring, as they came low down. whereas people who are less physically attractive like
Yau-man, Cirie, Hatch, Sandra, and Crystal all came in the top ten.
This proves my point that they would be better off having a set of interesting characters than Mactors (however chuck a few in for people to be negative about), and i can't understand why producers don't see this |

Just throwing in my two cents...
Upon initial interviews and appearances... I am hopeful for this season. Last season took China and Micronesia's momentum and shat all over it. Hopefully this season can be a very quick turnaround. As long this season isn't an other Gabon, Cook Islands, Thailand, or Africa... I'll enjoy it just fine! (btw... doesn't hurt that I have another hot brunette to root for) |

Version 6.0 = this casting failure began with Cook Islands, and has repeated itself every season ever since. Face it, they definitely stopped trying. Half these players each season now are either using the show as a springboard for their "new company" or modeling careers, or they are already quite "successful" in American terms (previous fame, VERY well-paying career, etc.) and could probably give a shit about winning the money. And yes, China was a failure too. Don't give me this "exception to the rule" bull crap. These seasons have all blown up in our faces. Micronesia "fans" casting was just plain pitiful as well. And let's not even begin to talk about the horribleness that was Gabon cast. It's not that the people or show aren't interesting... it's the method in which these people are being selected. |
