I don't think I posted it here but on Friday I was attacked in the shower. I was standing in my bathroom, waiting for the water to warm up. I had
already disrobed but was not yet in the shower itself. Anyway, the water is just about warm enough and I'm about to step in when the most FUCKING
DISGUSTING thing happens. A cockroach the size of my thumb crawls up and out of the drain into the shower. I freaked and ran naked from the room, shutting the
bathroom door and shoving a sweater under the bottom of it. Eventually, after putting on like 30 layers of clothing, a hat, and some snow boots, I worked up
the nerve to go back in there and shut the water off. The cockroach was not seen at the time. I again shut and sweatered the door and left for the weekend.
This morning my alarm goes off at 8. The sun isn't up but it's light enough to sort of see. I open my eyes and there is a large black thing running
back and forth right in front of my face. I leapt out of bed and onto my chair from where I turned the light on to confirm that it was another (or the same)
GIANT FUCKING COCKROACH. After spazzing out on my wall for a good ten minutes (I remained in the chair on the far side of the room) the beast eventually
disappeared into my sheets somewhere. I grabbed my computer, my coat, and all my schoolbooks and left.
I have no plans to return to my room ever again. I'll be sleeping in the library for the rest of the semester.
