Brazil was also shown on The Amazon, wich is nothing like the three cities and now Tocantins (Jalapão) on the "Cerrado" (i really don't know the word in english). 'Birdlay is right. You can cerrado in a documentary of Discovery Channel, "John of God" (but in Goiás state, which is close to Tocantins), about
a supposed "miracle man".

if it's none of those it's probably something to do with the twist like "second chances" or "old vs. young". although i have a
weird feeling this year may very well be the second chances season. it's not really even all stars seeing as most of the people got booted so early on.

I don't see much of a sense for them to do all of this big deal about 18 yo being able to be on Survivor and out of nowhere they bring back people from
past Survivors.

i think that they might have not received enough "quality" teenage applicants. i've talked to a lot of teens who tried out and they said they
never heard a word back either. can't wait for the next app season.

It's not attention I want. Trust me, I can get that if I wanted to. TRUST ME. The title of the show stuck me as just simply a 'the maya empire'
kinda thing. Nothing about 'fans vs favorites' or anything like that indicating twists.

I wish they woul',ve gone to Peru or Argentina instead. It was absolutely awsome where they shot The Mole 5, but a bit cold I reckon.
That being said, it's not an island so I'm happy. It's kinda weird that we had Survivor: Amazon and now Survivor: Brazil though. But then again we had Survivor: Africa and Survivor: Gabon. And we all know they'll probably come up with some retarded name to make it seem cooler anyways, like Survivor Brazil: The mystical jungles or some shit. |

Usually when they give subtitles like that it's to familiarize the audience with the location.
The Mayan Empire... Islands of Fire... The Toncantin? Never heard of them, won't involve them. It'll be something either popular that we can connect with or a description of the area. Ie: Brazilian Rainforest or something to that effect. |
