Pássaros e mais pássaros!
Yay to whoever could pick a tribal flag out of that. I couldn't even get all of the dialog, with speaking and subtitles. Very interesting... What was the setting? It sorta seemed like a presentation to the Jalapao Chamber of Commerce or something. (Who was the lady in the blue? People whooped when she came on like she was someone she knew.) |

It looks like there are going to be more than 2 tribes to start. I'm pretty sure I saw purple, red, light green, and yellow.

Nvm I'm dumb. It says 2 teams.

Yay I was right. Jalapao and Timbira= best premerge tribe names ever.

I dont think that Jalapao will be a tribe we know timbira (purple) is a tribe, but i searched for it and it was unheard of but Jalapao is sort of more famous
thats like a survivor US having 2 tribes called California and syracuse just too different to be like the tribes have always had relating names, like all the
islands that they are on so yeah im just kinda rambling but i think u guys should get my point

Yeah, you're rambling and you're wrong. So be quiet ^_^ |

mitchy wrote:Well true, but it's no different than Malakal and Airai. Airai is an island in Palau and Malakal is a state in Palau. not too much different but still, it's like having The Long Island Tribe and the New York tribe. I see your point but I also see the logic in the producers. |

To be honest, I kinda agree with mitchy... Timbira (indigenous people) and Jalapão (a region) don't have a connection, in my opinion... It's not like
Jaburu, Tambaqui and Jacaré (animals) . Anyway, I like Timbira, but Jalapão... not so much.

I do you pronounce Jalapao.

It's hard to explain... But if you go back a few pages in this thread you'll see that somebody has already answered this question. :) And you can also watch the videos posted above and see how brazilian people pronounce it. By the way, that's another reason I think a "Jalapão" tribe would be very strange... Foreign people would have a hard time trying to pronounce Jalapão... |

I'm guessing Jeff will just refer to it like "jalapow" for simplicity's sake.
