That doesn't make much sense, but then again, neither do most of the production decisions in the last few years. Sorry, I just have to rant Removing people from the intro each week=pointless and irritating. The Hidden Immunity Idol= I have NEVER yet heard a good defence for this twist, and the only reason it exists is the mistaken notion that it makes the game more exciting. The final 3=I can somewhat understand, but I hate it because it changes the dynamics of Survivor into a game show. The music. I believe that they are not allowed to use the "ancient voices" theme anymore, but I miss it terribly New posters=Post in the forum below this one. Please. |

I would only MAYBE be okay with a larger cast if the season opened with a 2-hour premiere... And that means the first 3 days is covered in the 2 hours, not the
first 2 fucking episodes in a row.

18-20 person casts are kind of an insurance policy, in a way. That way, Jonathan and James could be evacuated and Kathy could quit without entire episodes
being dedicated to them (like that awfully dull All-Stars episode where Sue left).

I agree with this thread. I am still waiting and hoping for a season of 24 players - think of all the twists they can pull with this!
Better yet, I think Survivor also needs a season of 915 players - where one player is eliminated every single hour for the first 38 days. Then on Day 39, a jury of 100 votes among the Final 3 to give one of them the million. With 915 people, imagine how many Johns and Roberts there'd be for us to meet, and all the bloodshed that we'd see over that coveted hidden immunity idol!! |

Exaggeration is boring. You're right, we should have 3 characters on a season, and just imagine all the character development they will get!

Oh wait, we already had that. |

I hope the twist means we have more than 16 players

I'm thinking that I will like the 16 castaways because we'll get to know their characters more.
However, there is a strong possibility that we will discover that the majority of them have bland personalities |
