Oh and could you elaborate on this when you get the time?

It wouldn't have helped him anyways, everyone would have seen him dig it up... Hmm... during your voting confessional for Paloma, you said something along the lines of "I probably like you more than anybody else here," and Corrine and Bob both wanted to get rid of Sugar. Given that they were both approximately the same in terms of challenge ability, and getting rid of Sugar would have crippled Ace, why didn't you get rid of her. She wouldn't have played the idol thinking that it was between Paloma and Ace, and Ace would have been severely crippled. This move would have also prevented the alienation of Kelly, which would have saved Jacquie for a few rounds (that you couldn't have known about, but it would have been a nice tempo swing in your favor).

Spoken as a true friend of Eliza. Of course we'd expect you to be tolerant of tribemates who are talkative. :)

Sounds like Sugar wasn't even trying for jury votes. Was that your impression of her TC performance overall? Sugar can be very Springeresque in her hate. Funny her voting confessionals for Randy and Corinne were two of the nastiest ever, and her interviews are pretty catty, but she's supposed to be the good girl.

This move would have also prevented the alienation of Kelly, which would have saved Jacquie for a few rounds (that you couldn't have known about, but it would have been a nice tempo swing in your favor). people thought i had a secret alliance with paloma because we were close and i picked her to be on the tribe. i was close with paloma, but my alliance was with corinne, marcus and jacquie. i didn't want to be a target because of a perceived secret alliance with paloma. we wanted ace to think he was part of our alliance and if we had voted for sugar, then it would have exposed that we weren't with ace. we didnt want to ruffle ace feathers so early. also, corinne and i didn't want to rock the boat so early and jacquie was very interested in getting rid of paloma (which was smart because she had a second alliance with sug/ace). i would have preferred getting rid of sugar instead of paloma, but as long as someone from my onion alliance wasn't going home, then i was fine with whatever happened. paloma is a smart cookie and she would have torn up the game if given the chance...i have NO doubt. also, kelly not flipping wouldn't have saved jacquie...it wld have been 4/3 instead of 5/2.

I have a question regarding Dan's elimination. With the merge looming, did you guys consider the danger of splitting the votes? I know you were thinking that Dan could have the idol but wasn't showing Susie that 2 people didn't want her there even more dangerous? I'm not sure that she wouldn't have flipped against Marcus anyway but I think a 6-1 vote against either Dan or Susie would have helped keep the other one loyal. Ahem ....... it stung that there was the last switch up for just 1 round. and we were suspicious with the way it was done...pick numbers out of a bag (we had seen that number bag to pick the order for the log-roll so it was a re-used bag). and the challenge that marcus lost seemed designed to be an individual endurance challenge. and we were upset that all the food we had rationed and all the rewards we had won were handed to the people who didn't ration and didn't win the rewards for a week. but i never thought i would win, and 27 days allowed me to have a great substantive experience and i couldn't believe i was there in the first place, so i wasn't bitter. it was hard to watch on tv, and i sometimes got sour grapes after i got home (sorry!). but when i was in africa, i was just glowing to be there. jacquie was definitely an onion. she is so great--smart, athletic and really charming. i love her. i was never a huge amber fan. but i liked romber on TAR.

Did you even consider it since you'd be picking up exhiled Sugar anyway and not lose any Kota numbers? Wouldn't you expect Randy, Susie and Dan to be saying they're true to you guys right off the bat since they didn't have the numbers? nice to see you posting though- and anyone who loves Eliza is okay in my book.
