I only saw a couple L&O: Criminal Intents years back, but they were all howlers. In some shows, you'll see the cops try to get a confession before the guy lawyers up. Not on CI! Time after time, the defense attorney SITS THERE ON HIS ASS while the cops berate him into a confession. So awful.
I would love to see a crime series take a season on a serial killer and really get into the nitty gritty.
I think there are only 3 idiots who write all crime dramas. An example of how retarded TV is: telephone traces have been instantaneous for a decade and a half now. None of this , oh Det., keep him on the line for 30 or 60 seconds - bullshit.
