Hwamf's entirely subjective ratings of various series' movies...and an overall rating for the series. These are in no particular order. What, me work?


Blade - C,D,F - D (these movies pretty much suck, as does just about anythign else Snypes does).

Matrix - B,D,F - D (1st one was alright, with some strong new effects, that is all).

Alien - A,A,C,F - B (I don't mind the 3rd as much as most, the 4th was the true crapfest. Best just to watch the first two).

Star Wars (order of release) - A,A,C,C,D,F - B (first two were great, with an acceptable 3rd. After that, pretty bad)

Indiana Jones - A,B,D,? - B (Ark was great, Temple was acceptable, Grail was crappy, haven't seen the 4th)

Mad Max - B,B,D - C (first two were good, the third was not)

Die Hard - A,C,C,B - B (1st largely re-defined how action films are made, the rest were acceptable follow-ups)

Terminator - B,B,D,? - C (these get worse as time goes on)

Lethal Weapon - A,C,D - C (1st was good, the only thing good about the 2nd was Patsy Kensit, nothing good was in the 3rd)

Transporter - C,F,? - D (Stratham is entertaining, Shu Qi was lovely in the 1st, thats about all)

Pirates of the Caribbean - B,C,F - C (Depp and Rush were good in the 1st, another one that went downhill fast)

Mission Impossible - B,D,C - C (they're alright...for Tom Cruise)

Dollars/Man With No Name (GBU,FD,FDM) - A,B,C - B (been a while since I saw the latter 2 so mostly going on memories)

Godfather - A,A,D - A (I just don't watch the 3rd, the first two are damn good)

Bourne - A,B,C - A (not really much to say about these...I enjoy them though)

X-Men - A,B,D - B (might be a C, the 3rd really sucked)

Spiderman - A,C,D - C (was never a big Spidey fan)

Jurassic Park - A,C,C,? - B (these I enjoy. 4th might never happen).

Superman (1,2,3,4,Returns) - B,C,D,?,C - D (was never a fan, Superman was always pretty vanilla)

Rocky - B,D, C,F,? - D (should have stopped at 1, as entertaining as I find the 3rd)

Batman - B,C,D,F,B,? - C (for now, if I like the new one it might get a B)

Jaws - A,C,F,? - C (just watch 1. period.)

Rambo - C,D,F,? - D (these wre just stupid)

Oceans 11 - B,D,F - D (the first one was fun, not good....the next two weren't good and weren't fun either)

Resident Evil - C,F,F - D (pretty bad)
