I think that's like us 'mericans naming our kids, Candi, Crystal, or Heaven. You're just saying "I expect this baby to grow up to be a
whore/stripper."

I didn't see the first season of this ((except a clip of them announcing the winner chick)) but I did see the casting show last week for this season and
it was not bad. This first episode was not too shabby, I liked it.

Perou is a great photographer. Some of the stuff he did for the UK version of Make Me A Supermodel is amazing!

And in regards to your question, they likely gave their daughter that name and the bitch didn't just decide to switch to something that sounds like lunchmeat. I certainly don't give a shit whether it's "right" or not.
Not so strange. Salome was the younger sister of Mary (mother of Jesus) and was not only one of the women who discovered Jesus's body was missing at the tomb, but was also the mother of two of his disciples. |

What is the correct pronunciation? I always thought it should be: SA-low-may But Tyson says: Sa-LOW-me That can't be right. Can it? |

anyone able to upload torrent so we non-US residents can watch the show as well?
cheers Found the first episode on youtube, and I like what they have done with the show. 2 mentors, and Nicole is one hot model. This show just has a feel of legitimacy when compared to ANTM. I think the judging panel are truly experts, and represent the 4 aspects of fashion with a model, a designer, a photographer and a model manager. This show has the most amazing photos, and challenges. I am still in awe over the dunktank with snakes and just about every other photoshoot last season. Perou could become my favorite reality tv judge. HATE him and his 'tude, but love to hate him. But I am getting a really heavy straight contingent this season, whats up with that?? This is Bravo after all, I mean having only one very effeminate gae and one gay married man, that's it?? Dayum!

Clark Kent, what's his name? I want to gay marry him.
This is a good show. I never saw the first season. |

The first season was fun, but this season it looks like they may be a tad heavy handed with the gratuitous almost nudity and sexual partner combos. Bold, even
for Bravo.
Clark Kent is going to end up winning this. They've stacked the season with female non-contenders. (I'm not complaining, just stating a fact. TPTB had to have hated that the boys split the vote last season and a less exciting female won.) That guy who got eliminated looked like a smaller, slightly less-deformed version of Jaws from that James Bond movie--you know, the really tall guy with the metal mouth? That's all I could think about when he was shown and it was very distracting. |

Well, last season did have an entertaining vote for the worst aspect that I'll miss, but certainly did screw up the show, which actually does seem to have
a remote connection to actual fashion and actual modeling Perou is ok, but I don't like Tyson being demoted to his little chair. I guess they thought they
needed him to be more Tim Gunn.
And thanks--I was thinking this was a substitute for Top Chef last year too and was on Wednesdays last year. It makes Tyra seem even more delusional and self-absorbed, which I didn't think was possible. |

Why are none of the guys attractive. I am severely disappointed especially after last season. Gar.

Wow this show to me blows ANTM out of the water. They seem to do a lot more legit things, with designers, photos, walking.
Colin is fierce I love his look. Is season one on DVD? I tried to watch it on youtube but it was so choppy and pissing me off. |

Wow this show to me blows ANTM out of the water. Yea. ANTM is full of the drama but it's a complete joke when it comes to the fashion/modeling aspect that MMAS seems to do perfectly. I think they have a higher success rate as well. It's only been one season but I think everyone from the first season have all signed on with major modeling companies. I think eight out of the original thirteen have all signed on with New York Model Management.

Word on ANTM being a joke, but it has way better drama.
I like that America isn't voting. In a way I liked it better because it allowed Kady to make it further than one episode, but America always got rid of the better people. Thankfully they stacked that finale with three tween faves so the vote splitting made it impossible for any of them to win. |
