I can live with that fact. Oh and i can say with 100% certainty that Philly fans enjoyed ours more last year than Yankees fans did this year. The price of being spoiled fans i guess. It was actually weird watching us get beat. It had been a while. :)

"He is going through a rejuvenation process for his skin. Women have it all of the time. He was surprised he came out looking so white. I thought it was a body double. Part of is just the lighting," Rebecca Polihronis, an employee of Sosa's former team, the Cubs, told the Chicago Tribune. "He was doing a dermatological skin process after years and years in the sun," Polihronis said. "It did come out looking weird."

I read something about the Mets trading Castillo in a three way deal where they'd wind up w/ Overbay and then sign Orlando Hudson - not crazy about Overbay but I wouldn'd mind that as long as the Mets signed/traded for a lf w/ some serious pop. Omar Minaya arrived at the GM meetings Monday night maintaining it was his obligation to investigate the price of top-tier free agents. However, a team insider told the Daily News he expected the salary demands of outfielders Matt Holliday and Jason Bay to be too high for the Mets. Instead, they expect to sign a left fielder from the second tier of free agents, or acquire one via trade, a team source said. Picking up a power bat in left field would allow the Mets to follow through on their intention of using Daniel Murphy as the primary first baseman in 2010. how surprising that a SECOND RATE FRANCHISE like the Mets would try to sign second tier free agents. Mets have every reason to be thrilled w/ Murphy. I mean who wouldn't love a first baseman with a .260 avg & .427 slugging pct. let's not forget about those whopping 63 rbi's!
