That's exactly my point. Teams are more likely to become better offensively at Yankee stadium compared to elsewhere. This hurts the home team.

in what way does it hurt the home team hint: it doesn't the yankees have the exact same boost shut up stop posting

Get a new schtick. It hurts the home team because any advantage of having better hitters is lessened because schmucks like you and me have a better chance of
hitting a home run there compared to other, bigger ball parks. It lessons any advantage you may have.

Yanks have the second best offense in the league, sooooooooo they are fine.

they have basically the same ratio of runs scored / runs allowed at home and away. it doesn't matter that their offense is already good, they benefit from
being in a hitter's park and are hurt by being in a pitcher's park regardless. you aren't very knowledgeable about sports.

Ask Red Sox fans how they felt when Bucky Fucking Dent hit that 270 foot homerun that's a caught fly ball everywhere else.
That's the disadvantage i'm talking about. Parks like New Yankee stadium turn players like Dent into bigger offensive threats than they really are. |

you're so stupid i don't know how anyone could possibly fail to recognize that both teams benefit offensively from small ballparks

If you have a team that has five guys that can hit balls 500 feet, and the other team has five guys that can hit balls 480 feet...does a stadium with a fence
475 feet out give either team an advantage? No. But if your fence is around 490 feet, then you'd have an advantage. That's what SR is trying to say. I
don't necessarily agree, but that's what he's trying to say.

i understand what he's trying to say but it doesn't make any sense because players don't always hit the ball the same distance. it'll help
people who don't usually have any power hit an occasional home run, sure, but it's just as likely to help a power hitter who just got under a ball or
something like that. again, the yankees have pretty much the same ratio of runs scored / runs allowed at home and away. the stadium doesn't hurt them.

It also turns players like Aaron Fucking Boone into better offensive players too. Count-pointer count.

plus the yankees have the advantage, knowing that half of their games are played in that stadium versus 19 at the most or whatever, of fitting their roster to
the ballpark. which means they're more likely to have marginal players that can do well at nys than your average team

Im thinking steriods turned Aaron Fucking Boone into a better offensive player.

Oh and the Yankees are 21-12 at home. So....yeah.

Slice it up any way you want Bobby...they're still 2 games behind the Red Sox.
|

That's not the point. Point is, they are playing better baseball than their opponents at home.
