Not that they weren't both terrific players but neither of them have "vote for them or you're an idiot"-level stats. The 90s Yankees will have Jeter, Rivera, Williams and Torre.

I don't know about good old Bernie FUCKING Don Mattingly isn't in the Hall of Fame and statistically they are very close together. And we all know Mattingly was not cheating.

As far as position players go, the bar for recent guys who should be in the hall of fame but arent is set with Andre Dawson, Dave Parker, and Don Mattingly. All 3 had better numbers than O'Neill.

Ninth win for Wakefield. I'd love to see him at the All-Star game. As frustrating as the guy can be to watch at times, he deserves it.

AL - New York, Boston, Texas, Kansas City, Minnesota, Toronto, Tampa, Seattle, Los Angeles

NL - Milwaukee, New York, Cincinnati, St Louis, Los Angeles. White Sox at Cubs was postpwned by rain with no makeup date immediately announced.

Once again we have 14 Interleague games and 1 NL game on the slate today.

is youfist actually talking smack when the Yankees needed a miracle to win a series against the lil disabled Mets? The same Mets team that went into fenway and won two games while the Yankees have played three series against the Sox and still haven't won a game? lololol

actually the Mets haven't done too shabby considering their situation. Only 3 games out of first and tied in the loss column for the wild card.

As for Sosa, I loved him in his prime but no one likes to have their intelligence insulted. He should've been man enough to come clean like Giambi.
