Where is rS or a Yanks /Mets fan to pick on?
As for Mets fans, we did enjoy that thrilling series in Fenway.

K-Rod confronted Brian Bruney during batting practice today. Hopefully there will be a brawl in todays game.

Didnt Bruneys arm fall off or something? He needs to stay on the DL for another few months.
Yanks will win today. AJ is going to bring the good stuff. |

tell Bruney to shut his piehole...dumbass is on the DL...don't piss off the opponent if you can't take the field to back it up...
that being said..after Santana pitches his standard quality outing (god knows why Melky and Hughes were too good for us to trade for him) hopefully the Mets will remember that they're the Mets and the bullpen and/or the second baseman will hand the Yanks the game... |

Wish I saw the pre game stuff.
Dave might be right. AJ outpitching God so far. AJ looks locked in, but he's famous for starting off like that then imploding. AB, this isn't last year's bullpen, although the loss of Putz and viable lefty options after Pedro raises red flags. Good point about Hughes and Melky. Why Cashman wouldn't trade them for Santana, I have no idea. |

So far Santana doesnt look very good. AJ is locked in and already has the run support. Santana is wasting a lot of pitches.

Ugh, dinks and flares. All by the bottom of the order, well until Jeter. F-Mart shouldn't have overthrown the cutoff. So Damon plates 2, not 1.
Yanks wising up and copying the Mets strategy of taking pitches to burn up the pitch count. |

Ruh Roh. AJ is melting down already.

OK Cora's bat did not break the plane of the back of home plate but props to Burnett anyway. Burnett got the benefit on the last 2 strikes.

And Santana is done in the 4th.

Beckett ties it up with a homer. He may be pitching like shit but he can hit.
