What are some potential Tie Breakers if there is a tied jury vote? |

I know they had an envelope for Micronesia and I don't think they would make them vote again because it wouldn't seem right for a FTC.

Um . . . nobody knows lol but I was thinking that maybe the person with the least amount of votes cast against them during the season but I am unsure. Maybe
draw rocks but thats just retarted.

I'm sure it's staged some how to where the never will be a tie. Or both people win $1 million (or, more likely - split and get $500,000 each). If
they'd just go back to a Final 2, they'd never have to worry about that again.

The only tie without a winner would be 3-3-1. If that happened, I assume the 1 would be forced to revote between the tied finalists live. It would be pretty
fucking suspenseful, actually. I didn't think they'd ever be so stupid to have a jury of 8, but they did on Micronesia. If they went 4-4, I think
they'd have to split it.

A live fire challenge would be awesome... but dangerous

I'm betting it's the "Least votes on all TCs". If it's still tied then probably they're gonna do the rock. Who knows?

Could you imagine all the controversy and crap over declaring a winner from pulling a rock from a bag on live TV? Could you imagine calling yourself the winner
or runner-up of the entire game due to a rock? I'd be mortified.

If there's a tie, they should do what I did in MY Survivor show: the audience should decide through TEXT VOTING! Isn't MY idea
beautiful?!

I would love to see Ami in Micronesia coming to announce the winner :p

The 8-person Jury of Micronesia was a fluke, brought upon by James' evacuation and the subsequent surprise F2. I think they've pretty much settled
into a routine of 7 Jurors and a Final 3, in which case the only way a tie could happen would be 3-3-1. Since Probst always goes to tally the votes anyway,
they'd probably resolve the problem out there by having the lone voter re-vote for one of the F2. I doubt they'd even show it on air, just like
they're known to not show pre-merge ties every now and then.

I have no idea what they were planning in Micronesia, but whatever it was, I'm pretty sure it would have occurred out there and not live in NYC...

Fire making challenge? We know who would lose that one...

I have no idea what they were planning in Micronesia, but whatever it was, I'm pretty sure it would have occurred out there and not live in NYC... I should hope so! It would be terrifically unfair to decide the issue after the episodes had aired. If they were going to do that, then they might as well just go all the way and let the executive story editor choose the winner. |

They ask in private to each of the F3 players who they would vote for of their two opponents after the jury voting. Then they tell us about this if there IS a
tie. However, if it is F2 and 4-4, they are in deep shit. Dumb 8 jury of micronesia. N/m. Jeff would check the votes in advance there too. And if there is a
tie, he gets the F9 player's private vote for them to break the tie, then tells us about it in the finale.

Alot of people keep saying this for some reason, but I'd like to hear what their plan was during CI and Fiji with a 3-3-3 tie.I think the likelihood of three people making F3 and all three of them earning enough respect to get three votes is extremely unlikely, and the show probably realizes that too. Still, that's probably why they eliminated 9-person Juries (aside from the fact that it was stupid for pre-merge boots like Rebecca to vote between three people she had never been on a tribe with). |

I think they would just simply make the third place finisher join the jury and cast the final vote. Makes the most sense.

I think they would just simply make the third place finisher join the jury and cast the final vote. Makes the most sense.I don't think so. They'd have to do it out on location, because it would simply be ridiculously unfair to have someone cast a vote at the live reunion (what with a season of edited footage influencing them). If they did do it out there, Jeff would have to announce the tie out there (probably by revealing the votes), and the third-placer would vote. The live vote reveal would then only be one vote, which would be horribly anticlimactic. |

Yeah I don't get why they had such large juries in CI and Fiji.

The large juries on the race-based seasons was (purportedly) designed to fairly represent the races and prevent a sole race from controlling the jury vote. |
