"Will you forgive me?" he says, and he presses a kiss against your lips even though you're supposed to be the one in control here. You've never gone farther than pecks but suddenly David Archuleta's tongue is in your mouth and you have no choice but to really and truly kiss him back.

Every night now, he sneaks into your room after curfew. Because he's so young, they check in on him more often. You don't want to imagine the look on the producers' faces if they were to find you in bed together. You come so close to kicking him out more than once, but then he kisses you sweetly and you let him stay.

The first kisses are always sweet. Then one of you - usually him - will deepen the kiss and suddenly you're making out like horny high schoolers (which, you try not to remind yourself, he is).

You let his hands explore, but never too far. You'll never forget the look on his face when he unbuttoned your shirt for the first time, and you didn't stop him. Because it felt good, even though his hands were cold, and he had to learn sometime, right? You usually don't return the favor, although sometimes he slips into bed without a shirt on, and he presses against you, and you forget how to say no.

Tonight, after tossing your shirt to the floor, he looks in your eyes and reaches for your belt buckle. You grab his hands and pull them up to your chest, kissing him lightly when he gives you a wounded look. You are not going to be the one responsible for stealing whatever innocence he has left.

There's less than two weeks until the finale. You have no idea what's going to happen after that, and it's too much to ponder. David shrugs out of his shirt and curls up next to you in bed, content with drifting off to sleep. You watch him, and smile, and close your eyes.

After all, you never know how many nights you'll have left, and you don't plan on wasting this one.
