A lot of people don't realize he's not white.

I think that was IDF because that's the only other one I've glanced at recently and I saw where they were going on and on about his veiny hands. Next thing you know, they'll be drooling over his nose hairs. Loving these interviews, videos and all those yummy pics! Just had to post this one again. Sheer joy! Love it! I like the long dreads on Jason. IMO he doesn't look as cute with the straight hair, looks too much like everybody else. The dreads make him more unique, just like his personality. Those interviews are making me like him even more too!

The majority of the questions were pretty fluffy and I'm bummed that not many substantial questions were asked, but this one? This one was worth the entire conversation. What is your biggest fear? My biggest fear is wasting my life. How long have you had your dreads? It's been almost 4 years. My senior year of high school I was bored with my long hair, so I gave it a try! I'll keep them for a while. What have you missed the most about home? I miss working with my Dad in the summers and the sun! I love the heat. My Dad has a business designing and building swimming pools. I enjoyed your songs on Tuesday night. What was your most memorable moment on Idol? There were lots of memorable moments! But I think my favorite was "Over the Rainbow." I think it was my strongest performance. I am doing my first solo for my spring concert next week and I'm REALLY nervous. Any advice for stage fright? Be confident in yourself. You practiced it, you know it. Act like you know what you're doing and there is no need to be scared. When did you learn to play guitar and who taught you? It was my Freshman year in college and I taught myself on the internet. I have gotten a little into writing songs this year. Who was your favorite mentor or what was your favorite theme to perform? All the mentors were great and encouraging. My favorite week was inspiration week because everybody had such awesome songs. What kind of music will you record? Thanks for coming into our lives! You brought joy to mine & I'm not a teenager either. I just want to write music that inspires and touches people. It will be acoustic music because that is what I know. Do you have a girlfriend? I don't get annoyed that easily. I think arrogant people disappoint me. Nobody has a right to think they are better than anyone else. Has the Idol experience changed you much in your opinion and if so in what way? I don't think it has changed me too much, just a lot busier. It's crazy being recognized. You feel like you have friends everywhere. WHOOP! Are you headed back to Aggieland to get your degree? I am hoping to. I was in construction science, which I love, but I don't know if I'd continue in the same field. I might go into music. If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go? Good question! I've always wanted to take a yacht around the Mediterranean. I'd Love to go with my friends and family. (my opinion - a sun-drenched, shorts only Jason sounds like a mighty fine vacation!!) You have the most beautiful face Jason. Would you ever consider being a model? Well, I've been known for not liking interviews. But more than that, I don't like having my picture taken. So probably not! What was the first concert you saw? In 6th grade we had season passes to Six Flags and N'Sync performed. That was the first time I saw strobe lights. I thought it was cool! What do you like to do in your spare time? I like playing guitar and being with my friends. I like to read books where I can learn something. A recent favorite is Rich Dad, Poor Dad.
