His new guitar kicks ass; I want one.

I was expecting much worse. I actually think his vocals were great, the arrangement...not so much.
He even said to vote while Ryan was pimping his number, so vote I will. |

I love Jeff Buckley's album and was depressed when he died, knowing there would be no more hauntingly beautiful music. When Jason sang Hallejuah, his voice
gave the the bittersweet song a lovely lilt, like a gentle siren beckoning the sailors safely home. I agree with him, vocally it wasn't amazing, but the
quiet way he performed it was disarming. Jason is an acquired taste. I have concluded this after several weeks. I was meh at first, then hated his fake rasta
goofiness. Then bewildered by his song choices. The more I watched tho, the more I realized he didn't want to be the next AI. This week cemented it.
Paula was the only one who gave him sincere advice: Be true to the person who was shining through. Shine on, you crazy diamond, Jason. You won me over tonight. :) |

The saddest thing is there were so many songs I wanted to hear him sing, which there will now never be a chance of him doing.
I know the likelyhood of a Iron and Wine song ever be done on idol is virtually 0, but I always hoped that Jason would get a chance to do one of their songs at some point. |

Just watched I Shot the Sheriff. I seriously think it's the best work he's done on AI in a month, and the judges can kiss my ass.

I almost liked his second song, until he flubbed the lines.

Balls! Why did he have to forget the words? I thought that was one of his better performances otherwise.

He flubbed them on purpose.

^Yeah, the thought crossed my mind, but I dunno....I don't think he would do that. Or at least I don't want to believe he would.

I love Bob Marley, but the funniest thing for me about ISTS is that it's my least favorite "hit" song of his. Even with that, I just loved
Jason's version of it.
And Jason was definitely trying tonight. I'm prepared for him to leave tomorrow anyway, but I'll always keep out a little hope for these kinds of things so I'm hoping DI is wrong. |

I sort of hope VFTW pulls out an upset, but that would mean Pinnocchio woouldn't become a real boy tho.

Well I am getting more busy signals for him tonight than I ever have.

Lemme preface that with "Conspiracy theory #112." |

I hope Jason refuses to sing tomorrow. I been waiting for 3 seasons for someone say "No".

A lot of people are convinced he was mouthing "don't vote" not "please vote." I didn't see it.

I thought he said "don't vote" too. The people with which I was watching said I was crazy.

I watched it back on DVR. Looked liked vote to me, but it wouldn't change my voting either way.

I agree, I watched the DVR. I don't think he said "don't vote" OR "please vote." It was just "vote, vote" |
