I didn't even realize that anyone else besides me was using it. Anyway, it was never meant to be some kind of personal insult to him. I started using it because I was amused by how the things (aside from his voice) that that the hatahs complained about: his "dopeyness," stoner vibe, goofy smile, etc., were the very things his fans liked about him. Because they often referred to those things with statements like, "Oh, that's just Jason." And yes, I have posted in his hate thread, even though I don't hate him (or any of the other wannabes). However, throughout the competition, I've really been bugged/frustrated by his poor breath control and I figured the episode/hate threads were the more appropriate places to post my complaints. Frankly, he comes across as a nice enough kid, with a pleasant enough voice. Unfortunately, I really haven't been able to enjoy his live performances most of the time, because I've always wound up being distracted by his tendency to take way too many audible breaths when he sings. And that's been happening ever since his "Hallelujah" performance. Though, I did found it less noticable last week. I actually thought he did a nice job on FIBJ and IMO, he and the Cookie were the saving graces of that otherwise awful groupsing. That said, I honestly hope that he will address his breath control issues, because, I believe that doing so would improve the flow of his singing in a big way. And that could only be a good thing for him as a musical artist. I also think his current fans would reap some aural benefits from it as well. It could also gain him new fans from the ranks of people like me, who aside from my annoyance with the air-swallowin', actually prefers the general tone of his voice to, say, Brooke's or De-Chile's. fingers exhale Last Edited By: totell 05/03/08 6:53 PM.
