Theo should win, but Mitch probably will. He hasn't been in the bottom 3 yet, has he? What had the potential to be the best season ever, with the best top 24 ever, has turned into a total crapfest. So disappointing.

I'm just trying to fit him into a prediction I made before this season even started (even if I am grasping at straws). I like Theo and hope he wins. Let's just pretend S5 and 6 didn't happen and go back to talking about Eva. I'm going to pretend season 6 just ended and Earl, Mookie and Amberly were the top 3 and Earl won last night. I hope Eva outsells Kalan.

Except I'm going to pretend Amberly won and Earl was Top 2 with her and was so happy for her and now he's going to make a CD with his band The Earlybirds. Drew was eliminated first and Mitch went in 6th. Theo came 4th. I will LOL if Eva's 2nd CD outsells Kalan's. It could happen. His singles were not that pop radio friendly imo. I never hear songs from his first or second CD on the radio whereas I still here Melissa's songs and I hear "Falling For You" and "I Owe It All To You" a lot too. Melissa and Eva got better airplay than him in the first place and with CD sales so low as much airplay as possible is key. If people hear your songs on the radio at least there's a chance they'll get it on iTunes or at the store. If they don't hear your songs only your hardcore fans are going to buy your music.

I really think Eva has a good shot to outsell him...at the very least, she should out-airplay him. The type of music she puts out is popular on the radio for some reason.

I'm also going to pretend the "diet coke of rock" Drew doesn't exist, which won't be hard. The Pigotts, Amberley, Mookie, Earl, Theo, and a few others are the real stars of season 6 and I will try to keep up with their careers. Eva should have no problem outselling him if her music is good.

Oh really? Well, I live in the states and have not taken CI seriously since season 2, and what got me back on the train this season was Earl, and Mookie, and Amberly and Theo to a certain extent(but Mookie and Earl were my faves this season). So for me no, it wasn't Earl's presence that made me think this show or season is a joke, it's the fact that Mitch MacDonald who can't sing in tune, like ever, and sounds like a chipmunk and Drew who has no musical identity whatsoever are in the top 3. Earl's cover of All Along the Watchtower FTMFW!

The diehard CIers will remember him but I doubt anyone from the general public outside greater Lloydminster will care for him. He'll go back to his old job. No record label would ever sign him. If he won, his c.d. would have tanked faster than Brian's did. Whoever wins will most likely tank too. Mitch will tank, Drew as well and Theo has the only edge in being successful but it will be hard to maintain for him and even he could very well tank. I love Drew and Theo but they will probably be forgotten once the show is over the next morning. CI holds no media or cultural power in Canada and that's where they die in success. It's even falting this year in the ratings. Big Brother is beating it in the ratings. This season is probably the least watched one. Only winner with any chance of a long and semi successful career is Eva. I don't know if this show will ever produce a winner like her again.

As for Earl most people have a strong opinion of him, even if negative. That's better than indifference when it comes to music IMO.
