The only performance of Brian's that I like is "My Life Is A Stereo". It looks like Tara and Jaydee are the real stars of CI5.

That's the one thing that makes me know Drew isn't Brian 2.0 and won't win. The judges clearly hate him and don't rave about him.

Tara and Jaydee sucked way more on CI5 than Brian ever did imo.
I'm not saying he's the best thing since sliced bread but he was definitely a saving grace in Season 5. He nailed his performances almost constantly and emoted very well the lyrics he sang. Carly Rae had a weak voice, Dwight was Dwight, Matt Rapley was annoying, Tara butchered a lot of her songs, Jaydee was Elvis 0.2, Greg was a douche, and the rest were non whites and don't count since they never had a shot anyways. He was the best the season had to offer, imo. I'm basing it on the show performances. I'm not wanting to defend him like he's perfect but with such crappy possible Idols like Earl, Mitch, Mark (though I loved the Luther song), and somewhat Mookie, Brian is looking a lot better to me as the days go on. |

That's funny because for me Brian looks far worse as a winner in comparison to everyone except Drew and Mark this season. Everyone else in the Top 10 minus
Adam would have made a better winner than Brian.
Also anyone the judges hates won't win so none of us have to worry that Drew or Mark might actually take the title because they won't. Even if regional voting carried either all the way to the end they'd lose in a vote-against situation to anyone of the people left. |

I guess its just a matter of personal tastes when it comes down to it SHC. I'm just partial to Season 5 cause I enjoyed it and this season is putting me to sleep a tad with all the meloncholy (sp?) performances. I'm also a fan of a lot of Brian's song choices and how he did them. |

I liked S5 but I like this season a lot more, I just love this Top 10. Even though I hate Drew and Mark I don't even have the same extreme hate level
towards them that I had for someone like Dwight or Jaydee.
There's a British week song suggestion thread on the CTV board and someone said they'd love to hear Amberly do "Creep" and I thought about it and decided that it's never going to happen but it would be brilliant. |

Even I'll agree with that. I abhored Brian from his first audition. Gregorilla is definitely a better singer than and while I recognize Carly's
limitations as a vocalist she's better than him too.
