though. I want him to do the opposite of his song title and go.

Well, I hope Seb lasts all the way to final three at least. We need to have an aesthetically pleasing final three. I'm tired of fugs making (and uglyfying)
the finals season after season (Gayry, Craigina, Aaron Walrus, Blah-Ian). It'd be a nice change at least.

I must have missed the Seb the first time I read it because I was thinking how the fuck would Mark make the Top 3 aesthetically pleasing.
Mitch - I agreed with Zack, weird song choice. Did the contestants think it was Country night? I really liked it though. I just really like Mitch's voice. I actually agree with Jake too, he needs to step up to the plate and blow people away. He's talented and he's always good but he really has to show it now. |

Amberly - Miss Theissen is love. Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful, her and her voice. Her song selection was brilliant,
love "The Way I Am," have been addicted to it since I heard it on the Old Navy commercial. I like Ingrid's voice actually but I'd much rather
listen to Amberly sing that song than her. It was awesome. While I agree with Zack he needs to tone it down. The people who are good are good and there's
no reason for the judges not to give them props. However Zack is just going to piss people off and make them NOT vote for Amberly the same way they didn't
vote for Nancy who Zack wet his pants over (for good reason) every week. She's amazing though and I do think she's one of their rare finds.

Mookie - I just love Mookie's voice, just love it. I know that I've said that about pretty much everyone but
the tones of peoples voices this year are killing me, I love them. I liked the performance, and the hat. Go Mookie. I hope he gains more support so he
won't get eliminated early just because he's from Toronto.

Theo - Why are so many gays hot? I would totally do Theo if he swung this way. Anyway I've known his song choice for a few days now and I've been
looking forward to hearing him sing it. He did it great. He's so talented and he seems like a great guy. Excellent.
Amberly and Theo were and are indeed in a class of their own. They know who they are, they're super talented, they sing absolutely beautifully, they pick great songs, they perform well, they are endearing, they are wonderful. It's a damn fucking shame they're both from Alberta because they are the Top 2. |

Mitch...meh. I wasn't impressed. Amberly...that was good. I just didn't really like the whole kind of "Lounge singer" vibe that song had. Mookie...OMG, I loved this. I LOVE THE HATE! <3 some Mookie. That song totally fit him and he just wailed it. Great performance. -Love the sign in the audience that said "Superman wears Mookie underpants."

I agree Max. I really want Amberly to win but if a male must prevail Theo must win. I like a lot of people but these two are far and away the best.

Earl - Yeah, I him too, just not as much as the past few weeks. And not as much as Sebastian. Overall, though, meh. Mark - His voice sounds a little girlish tonight. I would say go home, but we all know that's not gonna happen. Mitch - I thought this was polka. And, yeah, he's back to the voice being irritating tonight. Everyone has been so fucking underwhelming tonight so far. Amberly - I'm expecting good, but boring. Good, and not as boring as I expected. The only one to keep my attention so far. Mookie - Yeah, that hat is a big no. Sorry, don't get him. Next! Drew - I'm not thrilled he went back to a Maroon 5 cover. I didn't like him doing them in Toronto because he sounded too much like Adam Levine. This was a'ight. Theo - OK, I can't complain about the piano on unplugged night. Still better than everyone else. |

Tonight was good overall, but just proved what a useless theme Unplugged night is. The only time it really worked was when they were forced out of the big
theatre so they were actually in a smaller, more intimate venue with the audience surrounding the singers. That worked. Trying to create that same intimate
feel in the giant theatre just doesn't work. Plus, the only song that really sounded "unplugged" was the first one by Sebastian...after that, I
forgot that it was supposed to be Unplugged night. Stupid theme.
Anyway... 1. Amberly - I love this song, and it was a perfect choice for her. I'm glad she didn't do a ballad. 2. Theo - this song I actually don't know at all, but I really loved his performance. 3. Drew - I know many people here disagree, but I love his voice. And this is the kind of music that he would actually record; that's why I think it's dumb of the judges to say that it didn't show what he's about at all. 4. Mitch - terrible song choice. But like Drew, I love his voice. And he's so cute and likeable! And he has two different coloured eyes, which I can't stop noticing after Ben pointed it out on David Bowie night. 5. Earl - meh. 6. Mookie - meh. 7. Sebastian - meh. 8. Whiny Blob - GO HOME. |
