Yeah, Kalan was the only true 'chosen one' from the start, even Farley, I believe, said as much. Good as CI2 was it would have been better if it
wasn't so obvious Kalan was going to win from the get go. I prefer Mel, Brian, Ryan etc. because they actually fought hard for the win. I do think that
Theo and Eva became chosen ones somewhere between the first peformance shows and the Top 10, maybe a little bit later with Eva. I remember Eva getting
ridiculously high praise like she was the best singer ever who was going to become this international star and icon and some of the judges acting like she had
won already when there were around top 5 or 6. It was off-putting me for me as the fantasy didn't really represent the reality. I know Ryan gets a bad rap
but he's still out there enjoying some degree of success six years on. I remember many people viewing him as a write-off but he's probably accomplished
more than 'golden boy' Kalan in regards to sustaining a career in music. And Ryan doesn't work at Starbucks btw, or at least it's never been
proven. It's supposedly an impersonator lol
Once and for all, the Starbucks Ryan is not Ryan Malcolm. I know the guy at Starbucks claims he's Ryan, looks like him, tells everyone he's Ryan, talks about LLF, etc.. and he's probably having alot of fun signing autographs, engaging in conversations about his travels, yet it seems like he's playing everyone, unless he has one of those weird complexes where he actually beleives he is indeed the real Ryan Malcolm. This it just too funny!
