I'm very sorry Miki but I told you, anything for Amberly to win. I don't care if she's in the Top 3 with Mark and Drew as long as she is crowned Canadian Idol.

I feel that my description of tonight could make me dead.to.some.people, but I'm okay with that. 1. Drew - yeah, I know! Drewownage and such! Seriously, I don't think he's the best still there at all, but the fact that I do like him + the fact that I love that song = my favourite performance of the night. Weird, huh? 2. Theo - I actually appreciated the fact that Theo did an uptempo number and owned the stage a little...performances like this are necessary if one wants to win the show. 3. Amberly - weird, because it was a perfect song choice for her, but I felt that it started off strong and lost some energy (a few off notes) in the last part. I enjoyed her performance last week better...but good for her for doing a more upbeat song that suits her voice so well. 4. Mitch - I like both Drew and Mitch (Dritch), but I can't defend Mitch as well because I didn't like the performance as much. A few clunkers here and there, and while it wasn't bad, I agree with Jake that he sort of blew the song out of proportion. 5. Mookie - I liked him more this week than I have in the past. Still, he's not a Canadian Idol. Sorry. 6. Earl - he's high when he's onstage, right? Also, his finger waggling reminds me of TrainRex's "clapping over the head"...just as annoying. 7. Mark - DIE SCUM DIE |

Misc comments:No X They actually have a poster making station with bristol board and markers and whatnot at the venue. No idea what mutton sleeves are. |

Oh...in choosing to pretend Mark's performance never happened I forgot to mention something:
He needs to QUIT being an obnoxious schmuck post-performance. Scrunching his face, tongue out, stupid thumbs up sign, and "anytime, buddy!" was the epitome of obnoxiously annoying. I'm with Keitspid...DIE SCUM DIE! Hmm...VFTW made it to his Facebook fan group...can somebody discover us next? |

Personally I think we could actually see Drew go home tomorrow, he hasn't been bottom 3 yet while many others have and the judges were actually complimentary to him tonight.God I hope so. Not that I think he deserves to go home before Mark and Mitch mind you, but he is like musical wallpaper to me. He sings good enough, he is kinda cute too, but nooo charisma whatsoever. He reminds me too much of Brian from last season. |

I hope one of the first 3 go home. DrEWWWW would be fine. I don't find him cute at all and that nose ring is hiddeous.

I actually thought the hair cut made him look worse and the nose ring is hideous.
I might just have bad taste though, I'm developing a bit of a "I want to screw Mookie" crush. (I just checked, he's 18). |

Drew,,,,I was not impressed. I love that song.....not so much when Drew sings it. He still looks like a hobbit. Theo...that wasn't bad. Not his best. But
still pretty damn good. It was nice to see him out from behind the piano. Mookie...it was good. I'm afraid for him though. Amberly....it was alright. Parts
of it was very rough. This might not be good for her. Earl....yeah. I.don't.get.it. AT ALL.

Well, I am actually finding Earl really cute these days. I have always loved the guy, but never thought much of his looks. Maybe I have rose tinted Earl
goggles on or something because now I just find him freaking adorable. The quasimodo comment hurt my heart. Sigh.

What I thought was funny is that the CI producers remembered last years top 7 bottom 3 and stacked the deck accordingly this year with who they think is the worst of this season. I'm finding Earl kinda cute these days too. But then I have a thing for guys with almost black hair. Cookie's Creep >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> DrEWWWWW's |

Mark - Of every song, you chose this? Really? I just feel like he's singing karaoke. This is so fucking bad. No emotion at all.
Mitch - What's up with those pants? His voice is just so whiny and bad. Drew - He's just so fucking boring. Why are you still here? Theo - Holy fuckballs, no instruments. Good job, Theo. I liked it. Glad he changed it up. Mookie - Yeah, I still really don't like his voice. Amberly - I hate this song. I'm bored. Shocking! Earl - Jason Castro is sitting at home going, "whoa!" Way to ruin a great fucking song, Earl. |

Amberly....it was alright. Parts of it was very rough.*shakes fist* That's it, everyone who doesn't declare undying love for Amberly in the next 24 hours will be dead.to.me. So far the only person I know who shares my goddess love is roadie, and Max. |

This is the best Idol performance of "Creep:"
He sang that at his wedding to his wife I think. LOL. |

Damien right?
That's actually a really good song for him to sing at his wedding. Although that's still really funny. |

Drew--Creep--I flove this song and always have--Drew is no Marty Casey or David Cook (pre-idol) and he wasn't completely derivative but I didn't love
it.
Theo--loved, loved, loved Theo! Even the bad fit on the leather jacket. He took the box he was in and flung it away and took a chance. Major props, Theo. He is one of my top two. Mookie--Look, he is way too young for me to find him hot, so this statement does not have any hotness factored in whatsoever. Purely on entertainment, potential, uniqueness--one of my top two. Way to go Mookie! Amberly--definitely in my top 3. It's a song choice thing, and an soul baring thing for me. Amberly is gorgeous and has a beautiful voice. But she didn't get to me tonight due to the song. She needs to let the audience in by opening up more and putting herself out there. Of any of the top performers left she is one of the couple that could do this. If you don't get what I'm talking about, go watch David Cook's top 24 performance, then Billie Jean and then The World I Know finale night. He laid himself bare and put his heart out there in that one, final song. I felt Theo opened up much more tonight. Amberly is technically excellent but guarded. Earl--fucked with Clapton and is dead.to.me. You don't EVER do that at the end of my favorite rocker of all time's songs and live.

I love how dags pre-faced her commentary on Amberly with "definitely in my top 3." I'm sure that was a msg for me.
Just so you guys no I'm no longer riding the crazy train, I'm conducting it. I actually won't finish watching the rest of the season if Amberly ever gets voted out. |

Aw, SHC. I would like to be saying that just for you, but I'm not. I hear the beautiful Amberly voice and I see so much potential there. But I need
something more raw from her--and I absolutely believe she has the potential to deliver that. Maybe she has had this perfect life and has never felt
emotional pain, and therefore can't throw those experiences into her songs. But hasn't she experienced passion Or lust? Or anger? I need to hear
something of her heart in her songs, and so far I don't. They are just all really pretty songs.
I know I'm dead.to.you because she is not my favorite. I can live with that. Brooke White was more raw than Amberly, and that's saying something. So go ahead and kill me off. I still love you. |

No dags is not dead.to.me, not yet anyway. Although lack of appreciation for what Amberly is doing hurts my heart.
I don't know if you know this but she's actually only 19 and she's mentioned that she grew up in a traditional Mennonite family so maybe she doesn't have a lot of life experiences to draw from. Some people just have good lives and she's still young, maybe she hasn't experienced passion or lust for another person. Some people aren't angry and are lucky enough not to have felt emotional pain in childhood and teenage years. I suppose I want to defend her on this issue because we're the same age and I know lots of people my age and some of them do have emotionally painful experiences in their life already and have something to be angry about but a lot of them aren't, nor do they have the time to have passion or lust for anyone else. |
