For most Israelis back at home soil, the franchise is only 2 days away.

Has no-one else tried watching it? Despite speaking zero Hebrew, it's easier to follow than the episode the Brazilian version. Here's a summary of
Episode 1 for anyone curious who doesn't want to watch it - the tasks are all rip-offs of TAR7 Africa:
Teams have to pick an envelope at random at the Israeli International airport to decide on their departure time (WTF? lame) to Port Elizabeth, South Africa. Once there, te Arrival order at the Roadblock Flight #1 (arrived at 12:50pm): 1. Hadas/Inbal, token blondies 2. Maya/Amichay, the pretty young couple 3. Eliana/Yael, dark-haired young friends Hadas & Inbal suck at untying the rope, even resorting to a trying to burn it off with a lighter and hairspray to try and make it more flammable (lulz), causing the hot couple and Elina/Yael to pass them. They finally make it out in 3rd after cutting it with a razor-blade. 4. Hannah/Margalit, crazy old Kibbutz ladies 5. Liran/Elena, beauty queens ( The crazy Kibbutzers get stuck, so the Beauty Queens pass them, after stopping for a a few seconds to try and give them tips to help them out. They remain stuck until a random old man comes along to help pull them out some time after the second flight lands. Flight #2: (2:50pm arrival?) 6. Guy/Shay, boring alphas 7. Gil/Tom, step-dad and step-daughter 8. Maor/Asher, childhood friends, one of whom might be the fattest person ever to race (who fail to tie the knot properly and drop the log in the mud) 9. Michal/Ran, nondescript married couple 10. Alen/Inbal, formerly dating bickering couple (who get totally lost and arrive much, much later) Arrival at Nomathamsanqa (Fruit Stand) Task: Carry bowls of fruit on their head 1. Maya/Amichay (who finished before anyone else arrives) 2. Liran/Elena 3. Eliana/Yael 4. Hadas/Inbal The BQs suck at balance, bizarrely, and Eliana/Yael pass them. They manage to finishly slightly ahead of the blondies, but get passed on the road to the next clue. 5. Michal/Ran 6. Maor/Asher 7. Guy/Shay 8. Gil/Tom (just like Ron in Ireland, he decided to randomly sing an old song, in this case 'Que Sera Sera' <3) 9. Alen/Inbal Old Kibbutz ladies get totally lost and arrive in the dead of night, then waste time singing a silly song with the locals. Arrival at Tsitsikamma National Park 1. Maya/Amichay Who find an hours of operation bunching till 7:30pm and get pissed. 2. Eliana & Yael 3. Liran/Elena 4. Hadas & Inbal 5. Michal/Ran 6. Gil/Tom 7. Guy/Shay 8. Maor/Asher 9. Alen/Ichbal (who argue a lot and keep crossing their arms and rolling their eyes in confessionals <3) 10. Hannah/Marglit Then the episode anticlimactically ends... |

omh at me randomly choosing to root for the bickering couple. I'll stick with them though, cause she's hot and he looks like Roberto from BBUK.
Alen and Ichbal ftw |

I'm willing to watch this, I just don't know where to watch it from. Online?
Thanks for the ep. 1 summary, ADC! |

I'll stick with them though, cause she's hot and he looks like Roberto from BBUK.They reminded me more of Mai/Oliver or a goofier Tara/Wil, so you are wise to stick with them. The hot couple compared themselves to Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie The fat guy wearing a Kung Fu Panda T-shirt <3 |

There's a stepfather/stepdaughter team?
Why hasn't our version thought of that yet?! |

Why hasn't our version thought of that yet?!I don't think it's a question of not "thinking of it", it's a question of finding suitable applicants who fit the bill who aren't going to be awful TV (and decent competitors, since Gil/Tom seem like one of the fitter teams). |

ADC, Tel Aviv's Ben Gurion International Airport has a direct flight to Johannesburg within a connecting flight to Port Elizabeth. Tel Aviv-Johannesburg
flights are operated by El Al Airlines, Israel's airline carrier. There are no direct flights between Tel Aviv and Port Elizabeth.

There are no direct flights between Tel Aviv and Port Elizabeth. This is scandalous and I am writing to the Israeli PM to fix this RIGHT NOW |

Their theme is like 50 bazillion times better than ours.
I'm downloading the first episode now, I don't know really what I expect. I'll probably turn it off after 2 minutes since I wont be able to understand a word they say, but we shall see. |

Yeah, I really want to watch this too.
Judging from some of the clips, I guess the consolation is that they'll be going to countries where they'll have to speak in English, so that could be enough |

I guess the consolation is that they'll be going to countries where they'll have to speak in English, so that could be enoughThere 's a 30 second-ish exchange in English in episode one, where the kibbutz ladies get directions from a local. If you've seen enough TAR, it's relatively easy to follow. And much beter than TAR: Asia 2 already. I'm unsure why the Asian franchise has such terrible camera-work and music compared to both this and the Brazilian edition. |
