You haters are pathetic! Admit it, there's nothing to hate about these pretty boys! They are smart and race well! You thought they were going down eh? Hahaa....yoohoo, team #2 is not that bad with such bad luck in the beginning! If not for the flat tire, they'd be team #1 again!!!

If I hear one more confessional from these two chumps about how fabulous they both are for having completed rehab, I'm going to throw my crack pipe, bong and several hypodermic syringes right through my fucking television screen!
What the fuck is wrong with you people, seriously? Please, tell me you are teeny bopper girls and twink-loving idiot homos who are worshiping these two because you like their skinny bodies... and maybe I will deal with that. But if you suggest that you support these asswipes because they've "overcome" their addiction woes, I'm gonna slap the living fuck right out of you. Why has REHAB suddenly become the newest form of American heroism? Yeah, it's truly great when anyone gives up a sad, pathetic, drug-addicted life and turns a new corner... but it is NOT praise-worthy. "Good boy! Who's a good boy? YOU are! Yes, you are! What a good boy. Now, give me the needle. Hand it over. Admit there is a higher power. Flush that crystal meth! Yeah! Good boy! Good boy! Wanna biscuit?" More like "it's about fucking time you GREW UP and quit doing drugs, you fucking idiot." Sorry, I respect people who have the SMARTS never to get themselves INTO that sort of mess in the first place. Recovering individuals -- yes, truly terrific, and that's not sarcasm. Glad these types have finally woken up and learned to start living as part of society and taking responsibility for their actions. It's worth perhaps a pat on the back, but all this adoration for former addicts is ridiculous. These guys aren't heroes. They deserve a second chance in life, but let's not forget that they are the ones who made the choice to fuck up their FIRST chance. PS: It's easy to get a body like that when you inject, snort and otherwise shovel drugs into yourself on a daily basis, you know... |

Please, like they need anything else to inflate their massive egos. Their whole "we've been drug addicts we've had the worst lives ever" spiel is undercut by the fact that they've both had extremely successful careers and are most likely rich.
Rich models abusing drugs just doesn't evoke the same amount of empathy from me as it would had they been poor or homeless. I'm glad they're clean... but the fact that they fixate on it just tells you how narcissistic they are - as if they fully expect to be congratulated. |

Word to the pervious few posters. Can't stand the repeative druggie backstory. At this point it's contrived because I doubt they go through their everyday lives thinking and talking about how lucky they are they 'got a second chance, enjoy every minute of life' spiel. Enough already. They have nothing else to say? And producers, they have nothing they can ask thes guys? (And don't get me started how they have a physical advantage over some of the other teams and are likely to win.)
Also, in their first interviews they talked about how difficult their lives are as models, that they have to pay their own way, aren't catered to, and so on. Please...hard is a single Mom raising kids on minimum wage, hard work is doing back-breaking construction or factory work, not posing to have your photo taken in Cancun. I keep wondering why TAR continues to cast models with so little personalities? Does this really raise their 18-49 demographics? Are they cast for the chicks in the audience, for the gays, for the regular guys to have someone they can relate to? I remain mystified wny we see so many mactors. I'd rather have another Dave & Mary type team from Middle America who have never gone anywhere or done anything extraordinary, and watch them open up and grow as they figure out how they're going to do what's thrown at them. Now I feel better. :) (edited to to include a missing word or two) |

Take it a step further? Why not cast a team with Down's Syndrome? Or a couple of Kleinfelters? Or some useless fucker with one leg? |

ITA that it's commendable when people get their acts together and turns their lives around. But it's not like addiction just happened to these guys, like a stroke of bad luck. It's not like they got cancer or lost their families in Hurricane Katrina. They chose to get into drugs in the first place, so they really just cleaned up their own mess.

Hollywood rehab shit is only interesting to the insular, provincial, inside the Hollywood beltway La-La Land types. No one else cares or thinks it is "cool" or even worth talking about.
These guys are total bores. And the editors are spinning them too too hard as somehow noble, likable whatevers. It ain't workin'. They have no personality. They have no life experience of interest to talk about. They just said yes to drugs and did the Hollywood-speak "cool rehab thing." No one cares. A boring mactor is a boring mactor.
