Before his death, he filmed his upcoming film, The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus. The movie is temporarily suspended cause of Ledger's death last January. He was eventually recasted by Colin Farrell, Jude Law and Johnny Depp shortly after Ledger's death to finish the upcoming film. |

He creeped me the hell out, and I never even thought about it being him. Mission accomplished. I thought he was great.

It was a fun but one-note performance that he or any other halfway decent actor could have done in his sleep. If you want to see his real acting chops, watch
Brokeback -- that's the performance that deserved an Oscar.

I also watched The Dark Knight two nights ago. And what can I say: It's a cinematic masterpiece and the best live-action superhero movie ever. I say
"live-action" because The Incredibles is the only superhero film that can challenge Dark Knight for the best-superhero-movie mantle.
Now, I haven't seen many of the latest movies, so I can't say for certain, but I think Ledger's performance was masterful- he created one of the great all-time villains which will live on at least for the next two decades- and he's deserving of the supporting actor oscar. |

You're all philistines. Ledger was great. The movie was great. Brokeback is overrated. Kill yourselves.

Haven't seen it. Liked him in Brokeback and Monster's Ball. He is kinda a mumbler, though.

Yes, "philistine" is a perfect term to describe those who don't value the Great Art of the superhero movie. But thanks for the advice.
