I got scared but kept driving and made it all the way home. I drove on the highway and about 20min locally. Get home and find out it's a flat tire and lost a lot of air. My dad said he'd show up tomorrow and call CAA to change the spare tire on it and maybe tow it to Canadian Tire. He also said that since I drove on it, the alignment may be messed up. I did tell him I was worried Cdn Tire may overcharge me for fixing the tire and alignment stuff. My dad we could wait until Monday to go to our regular auto service guy. Is Cdn Tire that bad? If CAA comes tomorrow to get a spare tire on, it should be OK to still drive around and go in on Monday to my guy to inspect the car right?

Seriously, I wasn't allowed to drive until I could prove I could change a tire. That round rubber thing in your trunk is called a spare tire. Spare tire, meet Mr. Jack.

That is just turn the radio up really loud when you start hearing strange shit and pat the dash board saying "c'mon baby girl, c'mon baby girl you can do it" to your car until you see the beautiful site of your own driveway. eta: Speedy that is most always a fallacy and a scam for the tire places to fuck you over and get you to re-align your car for no reason.

Did you notice sparks coming off that side of the car as you careened home in a panic? A car can take quite a bit of torture before it gives up. Unless it's a Ford. If it's a Ford, you got what you deserve. Now go change your tire. Or pay the dim witted kid next door a quarter to change your tire. Seriously, grandmothers can change a tire.

It doesn't cost THAT much to get it fixed. Next time, check your tires once in awhile. And learn to change a tire.

I just thought it was some alignment thing or whatever.

Brrr I wouldn't change my tire But then I have roadside assistance, they'd do it as part of my plan. Don't tow it anywhere, that's just stupid. Get the doughnut on it either yourself or through roadside assistance if you have it or make dinner for one of your neighbors that will do it for you. Then take it to the tire shop and have them fix the tire (this should be free or a minimal cost) and if you feel that you should get the alignment checked and fixed (this is a set cost)
