Maybe showing that part of the service would have totally given away the result. YAY for Danny, and congratulations to him. I liked him from ep 1, but would have been happy for either finalist to have won. Paula showed class in her acknowledgement that being a finalist opens doors for her. I think she'll land on her feet, quite likely in a more elegant establishment than one located in Atlantic City.

Do they hold the winner's head chef position open for him for all that time? If not, how do they prevent the winner from being revealed by someone going to Atlantic City and visiting the Borgata (sp?) and asking who the head chef is?

Danny had a confidence and quiet swagger about him and I bet he reminded Gordon of himself at that age. You gotta believe Gordon liked the cut of his jib from the get-go and eased his path to the final.

I had liked Danny earlier, but the past couple weeks had begun to root more for Paula. Either way, though...I knew I would be pleased no matter who won.
