Boring, chain-smoking low-lifes being yelled at by British bulley for poor cooking skills?..I can't believe I thought this show was interesting once.

Andrea needs to gtfo already. If she doesn't go next week, she is definitely sucking Ramsey's donkey and is probably in the f3 at least. And what a
shame, she has been consistently sucking ass every week, but yet he gives her a pass. |

MakePaulaCry wrote: Well, when I posted what I did, I wasn't just so much speculating as quoting Gordon Ramsey himself who said Julia was returning for the 5th season. Q: You invited a contestant from last season, Julia Williams, Atlanta's favorite waffle house chef, to come back. Will she be back in the fourth season? This was part of a question and answer conference call for the press, and was published on 3/26/08 when Season 4 premiered -- and after season 5 had already been filmed. Remember, what we're watching now was filmed well over a year ago to complete Ramsey's agreement with Fox and in anticipation of the Writer's strike. His agreement was only extended for a 6th and 7th season last September. There are a lot of people saying that season 5 and 6 were filmed back to back last summer, but that's not true. It was seasons 4 and 5 during the Fall of 2007. Season 6 was filmed this winter and premieres on July 21st. However, I'm fairly convinced that they come back last summer and re-taped the final 5 of Season 5... or, when he said he was shutting down HK... maybe he really did and brought them back later. Robert's hand was burned one day, and not the next when they took off for Atlantic City, and Andrea's hair was totally different. So, it is entirely possible that after the strike was over, they brought them all back and filmed again. That could explain the discrepancy with GR's comments about Julia and the rumors that Season 5 was filmed last summer, which it wasn't. Who really knows.

I am done with this show and I have no one to blame but myself.
The show used to be bad/fun and now it's just bad. I'm not looking for them to cast the cream of the crop chefs that have their own 4 star reataurants, I just want them to cast people that are competent. I know, at this point that's asking alot but it just ridicules now. Every human being is going to make mistakes so he is going to end up yelling at people no matter what. Just get people that know how to cook something simple like an egg with out fucking it up. I mean they had a mall food court cook for God's sake. Yeah yeah, bitch and moan. I know it's my own fault for watching this long, but I'm done now. |

Thank you. I've been mistaken all season long and have been thinking "wow, Danny's pretty impressive for a guy who cooks at Hot Dog On A
Stick".

I don't understand how 2 wellington's can disappear. I wonder which of the following is the correct explanation
1. Andrea is lying. She screwed up the number of wellingtons needed and is making up an excuse. 2. Andrea is crazy. She knew how many were needed and thinks she counted them correctly, but in fact, screwed it up. 3. Andrea is right. She counted and prepared the correct number of wellington's, but SOMEBODY (competitor? producer? Gordon himself?) sabotaged her. |

I thought it was strange how they ran out of Wellingtons, too. Must have been a very Wellington order heavy night. Or the prep squad shorted themselves on
Wellingtons.

Could she have fucked up some Wellingtons and was able to throw them out without anyone seeing?

Hilarious recap over at ew.com. Loved how they commented about Gordon saying yes? at the end of sentences, but it's not really a question. And it could be
any comment. That was perfect, yes? That tastes terrible, yes? F**k off, yes? Too funny.

Shit.
I figured Andrea was going, because they kept showing clips of her talking about how much she missed her family. On reality TV, when a woman is shown mentioning her family it's usually death. Danny FTW. |
