Is not knowing your own IQ the first clue that it's relatively low?

131 now, and just an FYI I am a columbia university graduate student now...when I was 15, I was 121 I should probably have a higher IQ but oh well. I feel smart enough and I still kill brain cells with loads of alcohol |

all I know is that my mother used my IQ as a weapon against me with a "you have a high IQ so you should be getting straight As" rant everytime I
didn't get an A in a class - supposed top 10% is all I know for sure
and btw, I have a talent for taking multiple choice tests and a knack for guessing right, so I'm not sure a test would be correct in my case |

139, though I don't believe IQ tests are really good indicators of anything.

People who claim to have high IQ's kill me. They act so humble.. LOL!. You can almost feel the pride in themselves as they type. I'm really much more
important than you know. They usually claim to related to Royalty.. LOL!

Was a member for 2 years because I thought it would look good on a resume. Didn't think that managers wouldn't want to hire someone smarter than them. Told my friends that it's probably a bit of a money grab. If you get anywhere close to 150 they probably jack it up so that they can get their 120 bucks a year or whatever it was. One of life's great ironies, that if you're smart enough you can pay a hundred dollars a year for a membership in a club that does literally nothing except give you a card that tells people you're smart. |

My teacher made me do this in class one day (http://www.iwantoneofthos...ocket-iq-test/index.html) and I got 160. I
dunno how accurate that thing is though.

Not sure. What does this IQ thingy stand for?

It would be truly ironic if a couple of mediocre scoring IQ'rs founded Mensa just so they could rip off the smarties every year for $100 each.
