I have seen many a folks fucked on H, but I have never seen someone go into a nod while standing up! For some reason smack makes your nose and face itch. I could tell in the car on the way over to sober house right away that he was high by his scratching and pinned eyes that looked like 2 piss-holes in the snow. I am wondering WHY he was not put on Suboxone?? Suboxone KILLS cravings and blocks th heroin-high, and had he been on Suboxone he never would have been able to get high at all, even if he injected 40ccs of junk. WHY is a long-term opiate addict like Steven NOT on some kind of maintence meds!??! This is crazy- he could have died!! He likely went back to his old dose- failing to consider his tolerance was way down and his old dose would knock him on his ass if not kill him. I am very disspointed in Dr. Drew for not have Steven and Amber Smith on some kind of meds to deal with the cravings and also PAWS (post accute withdrawal symptoms) that can last up to one year after getting clean- and are the major reasons people relapse! If there is to be any hope for Steven he needs to be on meds. Addiction is a disease- much like cancer, it needs medication to make it better. You just don't go to meetings for cancer- you take medication also. Some people can do only meetings, like some cancer patients can do a round of oral meds and be done. But some need meeting and meds, like some cancer patients need more intense chemo to beat it.
