I don't see where anyone played that great a game, but someone wins regardless. I can say the same about other iterations as well.
Kenny wanted to get some diggs in on Bob. I seriously doubt he would have had Kenny's vote. These Final TC votes were along the lines of the alliances. I
don't see see where the Final TC performances cost anyone. The possible exception being Matty, who seemed to want to hear an acknowledgment from
Sugar.

She couldn't single-handedly control the vote. Susie & Matty were voting for Bob, she took the risk to tie it up. There's nothing more she could have done for him.Did you watch the episode closely? Sugar didn't want to make a Sophie Choice betrween her brother and ehr father, and opted to "let the fire gods decide." Which suggests she probably would have tied it up for Matty if Bob had 2/3 votes. |

Sugar's intention was for both of them to be in the final 3, but Susie's immunity win ruined that plan. I don't see what difference it makes
whether Sugar favored one winning the tiebreaker or not. The bottom line is, Susie and Matty were voting for Bob and it was partly his own fault, since Susie
claimed she was willing to discuss voting out Sugar, but changed her mind because he kept pouting over losing the immunity challenge. After that, his fate was
entirely in Sugar's hands.

The difference it makes is whoever won the tie breaker was going to go on to win the game. Replace Bob with Matty and Susie and Sugar still lose, except they
probably tie for second with zero votes each with Matty there.

Bob's actually the player from this season who I was most interested in seeing play a second time- much like Terry he seems to have developed somewhat of
an appreciation for the strategic game after he got home, and it would be interesting to see what he'd do in a situation where he was actually playing to
win from Day 1.

They could have swung the vote onto Sugar, either 2-2 of 3-1 if they made a deal with Bob (which Susie already was thinking about). casting 3rd vote = booting someone, being the heavy. casting 2nd vote - for Sugar, letting fate or the challenge decide. |

God, get over it Craig. I know I'm a little biased in my opinions sometimes, but you are even worse than me. If I can admit that those two twats (Parvatwat
and Whorasca) you loved were at least somewhat deserving of their win, you should be able to admit that Sugar played a great game. So what if she wasn't
exactly playing to win, she was smart enough to know that the jury would never reward her the money. She had a major impact in the game and had a key role
almost every episode, without ever getting a single vote cast against her and having the attention of the HII. I know people who disliked her that were able to
admit she played a decent game. So can you.

Aras and Tom didn't keep it a secret that they were doing it and enable one to practice at the expense of the other. Besides, forcing the tie was a
contingency plan because Susie won immunity. If Bob hadn't been so inept in that immunity challenge, a tie would have been unnecessary. Bob deserves credit
for winning the tiebreaker, I suppose, but all it is is winning a challenge against one opponent.
He deserves none of the credit for getting that chance in the first place unless being a fatherly figure can be considered a game move.
And in fact, it was a challenge that either of the 2 people sitting in safety would've beaten him at, as evidenced by the merge IC. Bob won because of Immunity wins from 7 to 5 and being the 3rd best firestarter in the F4. |

Me saying that "Sugar handed him the million" was hyperbole and inexact.
She wanted to hand the milion to Bob or Matty by bringing them to F3. In that scenario, Matty has a legit shot to win if he can get Crystal and Randy's vote. Also given the Fang majority, Bob needed immunity at F7, likely needed it at F6, and had to win the firestarting tie-breaker. So he definitely ranks ahead of Sandra and Ethan, who relied 100% on other people's immunity wins and choices in the endgame. Was Sugar "the best player who didn't win?" Depends on your definition. If you mean the player with the most strategic control in the endgame, and put aside challenge ability, social game, etc, than yes she is best. But if you mean the player who came closest to winning, Sugar is not even in the top 6. Susie was a Randy vote from winning. Matty was one challenge win or Sugar vote from winning. Ken wins if he doesn't mess up at F7\F6. Marcus or Charlie win if Kota got luckier with the F10 tribal switch. But Sugar? She loses to anyone in a Fang endgame, and doesn't come near F3 in a Kota endgame. I can't imagine a scenario where she wins.

I don't think she ever came out and said those words but there were a lot of inferences made by Sugar to give that impression.
Said in Insider: I really think I have a better chance of getting second place if Crystal is in the top three. I have a much better chance. Kenny is definitely gonna win, that's fine, he deservesand in one of her interviews at RNO No, I think they gave me a pretty good check. I'm hoping for future work, which hopefully will lead to even more than that. The producers told my sister, "She was playing for more work and she's going to get it." I have to remind everybody I've been in SAG [Screen Actors Guild] for ten years Most of what I did was for entertainment value, since I wanted to get more work. |
