3 GREAT SEASONS IN A ROW?

Plus, the location was so dreary, muddy and blah, it really made it a drag to watch.

But in retrospect, it was cold & the fans were disappointing. GABON was good especially midway. The last episode and the winner was a big letdown though.

Posts: 12 (12/16/08 10:33 PM) Reply Quote More Recent Posts Message Connection Block Invite	I started with Gabon and i have worked my way backwards till CI which i just finished I think that Gabon is good if it is your first season, because there were such strange alliances there was marcus and charlie (nicest people on the planet) alligning with Randy and corrinne (both fun to watch but evil personalitys) there was a dominating team so you can choose to root for the underdogs or you can go with the winners with the fact that they will eventually go sour in the back of your mind Micronesia is amazing, I thought that there was a mix of extreme stragity (favs.) and people needing to survive (fans) china was good until the last 3 episodes Fiji is just awful CI is bad cept for Parvarti who is so friggin HOT!

I'll admit the location was a bit of a let-down, though it's not like Gabon's was much better (cloudy and dirty the whole time). In both seasons it was the rewards that showed you the beauty of the surrounding land. Aaron and Erik were both duds, but I thought everyone else was pretty interesting, though you're right in that the HII had too much focus.

Posts: 1298 (12/16/08 10:50 PM) Reply Quote More Recent Posts Message Connection Block Invite	I actually didn't like Micronesia, for the sole fact that the fans were a major letdown to the entire season. The favorites were also kind of on the ehh side, and Parvarti winning was upsetting. China was a great return to form a while back, but down the stretch it was clear that it was Todd's game to lose. What made China good was the cast though was diverse enough in terms of personalities to be worth a watch. Gabon is the best season since Panama if you ask me. China was good, but Gabon was really unpredictable, filled with great players (Sugar and Ken especially.) and a lot of snarky drama that really wasn't fabricated for once.
