No that would still be in but they'd take out something boring from Borneo. There were a lot of those

And the fact is, if a lot of people watch it, then it's not boring. And of course there were other things to watch on TV. The Borneo finale got about twice as many viewers as the the Democratic National Convention did, and they were at around the same time. |

Cook Islands: Basically the same results, if Yul is as good as he is thought of. Fiki: Dreamz has to answer yet another ethical dilema: to go with Earl and Yau Man, or to go with Cassie. China:Same results Micronesia:No signifigant changes. |

Oxy, just give some actual reasons or stop. Preferably the second.

Dr Will Hatch two point oh wrote: Will, stop saying that they would be the same. Micronesia would have been a much better season without hearing "OZZY HAS THE IDOL!" every 5 minutes. And if you're talking strategically, Yau is gone in the final 6 in Fiji and others would change dramatically like how in CI Yul is gone at the final 9. Strategically, the idols put a halt on potentially what can happen strategically (which sounds like the reason ozy watches the show...so I don't get why you would support it.) Oxy, I don't care as much about strategy as entertainment value, but you said that the idol provides a lesser chance for Pagongings when the opposite is true. You have no idea what you are talking about, so please, stop. |

I didn't say it provides a lesser chance. But it provides an opportunity for change despite a minority situation. So you have no idea what you're
talking about

But wait...did you just say manufactured suspense is boring? Do you not understand what the editors use the idol for? Night ss01, I probably should, too, because this guy is just pissing me off. |

TS, I am on your side. Yul would not have necessarily have left at the final 9. Cao Boi and Flika had no true incentive to stay with Yul and Jonathan and there was no true way of
threatening them with the idol. Therefore they stayed out of some misplaced sense of loyalty or strategy. On new Raro, Jonathan stayed for reasons other than
fear of him having the idol. Jenny, Rebecca, Brad, etc were all just as likely to flip, but they are not as polarizing as Jonathan and thus, not as big of a
goat. Yul threatening Jonathan with the idol at f9 made no sense at all, and it would of made sense for Jonathan to vote for Yul with the idol. Without, he
most likely would have stuck with him anyways.

Boring character development is boring. If it's good great, but not that stuff

Yeah we could've taken that out with interesting HII talk and game changing strategies

Dr Will Hatch two point oh wrote:I get that you are, but to say things like a season is exactly the same without the idol is crazy. Sure, some of the boots may fall into play, but the main reason I, personally, dislike the idol is from all the air time it eats up. Oh, and the fact that Survivor originally had three rules that should never been changed. One person leaves evey episode, a jury of 7 decides a winner from the final 2, and the person with the most votes leaves. I can understand tribal swaps and different merges (now at least, not at the time), but those three things should never have been tampered with. |

It's a matter of taste. They changed the tribe thing so I'm glad that they did it to other parts of the game. I didn't like it at first but I came
around to it
