Cook joined the label for a second time following her run on the seventh season of "American Idol." Cook released one single on the label, "15 Minutes of Shame." The song peaked at #28 on the Billboard Hot Country Singles chart. Her debut album Why Wait debuted at #8 and has sold less that 100,000 copies according to Soundscan.

That's putting it nicely. I think the final total was about 20,000 (I'm too lazy to look up the exact figure, but I'm sure someone else will). Details of commercial failure aside, Kristy annoyed me for 4 main reasons: 1) her voice isn't very good; 2) she isn't originally a country singer; 3) all the superpatriotic bullshit associated with her version of "God Bless The USA" that kept her completely out of the bottom 3 on top 10 night when she should have been voted off; and 4) on the Idols tour, she referred to her 3-song set as "my concert." I think she's a conceited bitch and will be happy when she finishes returning to obscurity.

I believe the total thus far is like 24 k, which is less than 25 k, forget 100. As for Carrie and Kristy I actually think they're both good singers, but Carrie is a bazillion times better in all honestly. I've seen them both live, Kristy on the AI tour, and Carrie in concert and Carrie is actually an amazing vocalist so I really have no idea what's up with Crappy and iluvbbs.
