Most everyone here is listing a bunch of good choices. Notably, Amber never made it past the first ballot here at Sucks's Hall of Fame. She really
didn't do anything innovative and wasn't a big character in either of her seasons.
Truthfully, if you can only induct four, Richard Hatch is the only person that needs to be on the list. Nobody can objectively say he isn't one of the show's top four characters and he's also one of its best players. The other three can be anybody else that was a major character (our Hall has a total of 33 names from Borneo through Panama - Exile Island). |

Tom W is the only WTF with me on Probst's list. As much as we hate Rupert here, he is one of Survivor's biggest characters ever and if he's
there for that reason, I really can't complain.

Lumping Tom in the same category as Rupert makes me seeting. Tom is a God, he deserves to be there.
I actually think Tina deserves to be there too. She was the first and best female winner so far. But we all know Jeff chose her because it was a link to Colby. And Cesterdildo = overrated. |

From a strategy perspective Rich, Tina, Rob C and Cirie are certainly the four players who have made the most impact.
Limiting a "Hall of Fame" to four players is pretty arbitrary though. |

Richard is the only Probst endorsed pick that I agree with. I don't know if I could only pick four...I guess it depended on whether you were picking them
for their gameplay or for their impact on the game in pop culture. Rupert certainly didn't get on that list for gameplay.

I love how those videos show me the initial 30 second commercial, then tell me this content is not available on my PC. You had no problem showing me the
commercial though |

My list:Omg, exactly the same as mine. It really should be these four. |

I think that Rich, Tina W., and Cirie are all definite choices, and the last choice could be Vecepia (first black winner), Sandra (first Hispanic winner), Yul
(first Asian winner), Rupert (most popular player ever), Rob C. (revolutionized the game), Tom W. (most dominant player).

Tina? I really don't think so. Tina's game play probably wouldn't even be respected if her season had not been the second ever.

Obviously, the CORRECT list is:

you know I have to stick with the originals -or if Survivor is dug up in fifty years from now as an artifact.
Richard Rudy Colleen Susan but certainly Jerri and Rupert would be recognizable on a Survivor Mount Rushmore. |

If we're talking Survivor Legends, Tina is not very recognizable compared to Jerri, Boston Rob, Richard, Rupert, Stephenie, Fairplay and other over the top
personalities that made Survivor relevant in pop culture.
If it's a gameplay thing then none of those people save Rupert and maybe BRob deserve a second look. |

As much as I hate to say it, Rupert would not be a terrible pick, neither would Steph. Both of them had such great effects on Survivor, and I don't have
to go into detail on that. But Kitty, I wouldn't include someone just because they were a (first) racial minority winner, especially since Vee/Yul
weren't exactly the most exciting (I know Hall of Fame doesn't mean exciting, but I think you get what I'm saying).
And the reason for why yes to Tina...she was the symbol for Survivor at its peak. The second season was probably one of, if not the most sucessful seasons of reality TV ever, and as the winner, Tina was a symbol for the show. This is all game play/likability aside, and she had both of those too. |

No mentions of Heidik?
I'm guessing the puppy-killing and wife-beating didn't help. |

It's not like the show had been running for years without a female winner. I don't really see that as being a big deal. If you want to say that things like Richard being the first gay winner, Tina being the first winner, Vecepia being the first black winner, etc. I could understand that, but it's not how I would form my list. Australia was a long time ago so I don't remember everything, but Jerri's villain status came at a time when reality tv wasn't as common as it is today so I think it was a much bigger deal. |
