I finally found Justin's last two cds. Holy fuck they were internet only releases. Even Jim Verraros and William
Hung found a label willing to distribute their cd. <sadness> for Justin.

don't be sad.. he has a pretty cool radio gig doing advertisement & jingles... he's doing alright! nowhere near the stardom of so many other
idols, but he's got a job...
isn't he ranked as the least successful AI runner-up? toss up between him & blake.. |

I think Bo Bice and Blake both sold more of their idol cd vs Justin. I think they did at least twice as many.

There's more, but I can't remember it all. Here's a couple of other tidbits:
Justin will be featured on Fox Reality Network, all day on New Year's Day, from 9 am to 6 p.m. I'm not sure what this is, because there's no explanation of what the show is. But I think it'll be the entire season of Idol Wrap and Idol Tonight from last season, presented on this network over the next couple of weeks, leading up to the start of AI on Jan. 13. And Disney will start up their big publicity machine once again, for the new Disney World American Idol Attraction, which opens in February, 2009. Justin, of course, is the spokesperson for the Attraction, and will be featured in videos throughout the show, including one that welcomes people to the attraction, some interviews as people walk in, and some interactive vids with people standing in line, and/or competing in the show each day. (Don't ask me how they do that so quickly, lol, but people in line outside will be video'd, as well as people performing inside, and somehow they'll be spliced that into a vid to show during the attraction when everyone gets inside, or to give to contestants to take with them as a souvenir. Not sure on all the details! But leave it to Disney, it'll be mega-publicized, and we'll find out more after the first of the year. Also, Justin is playing jazz at a local club in PA now and then, called Stephanie's. Those in the area would need to keep an eye open for when he'll be there as we don't get much advance notice for that --- It just something J does because he loves to perform and sing jazz in a jazz club, and he can drop in when he wants. Who wouldn't? :) If I think of anything else, I'll be SURE to let y'all know about it. :) |

Is Justin singing at the grand opening for Disney Idol? Who wlse is doing Idol Wrap this year? Is Caldwell coming back? I've read she has gotten a job
with CBS.

It'll probably be a big flop for Disney considering JG's lack of real success so far in his career. |

Actually, Justin's done quite well for himself, over the years, continually working and doing just fine. The only "failure" he's had was
when it was manuveured to be so by the ptb, so the fat chick could be promoted to the exclusion of others with real talent, like Justin and Tamyra. But you
probably know that history, Grumps, doncha? duh.
As for Houstor's question, I think Kimberley Caldwell is co-hosting a game show, called Jingles, this upcoming spring. But I'm not sure, and not sure what channel its on. Regardless, I don't think it'll interfere with her TVG duties, since that is her bread and butter. I'm pretty sure she'll be back, but Rosanna, not so sure. Rosanna is not listed in the TVG promos, but that may not mean anything, too early too tell. As for what promo Justin will be doing for Disney, I have no idea. I do know that Disney contracted with Clay to do a promo for the attraction during the Macy's parade, and they contracted with David Cook to do a commercial (where he says after he wins "I'm goin' to Disneyworld. Woohoo!" lol). So I imagine all the Idols will be dropping mention of the AI Attraction over the next couple of months. Disney pays well, I hear. :) |

Iminajustinfog wrote:No matter how many times you mention/wish, history cannot be re-written. The "fat chick" will always be the first American Idol, which means she won the million dollar recording contract. The show didn't say, let's use a half million to promote the winner and split the rest of the money promoting the also-rans. He didn't lose like Clay did by a few thousand votes with questionable phone problems during the vote call-in. Kelly basically whupped his ass. The voters overwhelming voted her the winner and all your constant whining is just laughable. Thanks for all the information though. If nothing else is on that night, I just might watch Gone Country ... that's if I don't forget. |

Don't bother, I'm sure we won't miss you.
(btw, just as an interesting aside, RCA and AI do like to promote the ahem, larger woman, so Kelly isn't alone. Just pointing this out. Of the 5 females from AI who are on the charts right now, only the picture perfect Carrie is slim. The others are Jennifer Hudson a large woman, Jordin Sparks another large woman, Kimberley Locke yes still large, and Mandisa who is very large. I don't know why that is, but good looking people have a tough time after AI, I've noticed. Odd, but true. I mean look at Daughtry. !!!!!! I rest my case! lol). |
