I only copied about 1/4 of the list, btw. I can't help it if you people don't read newspapers or watch news on TV, and ONLY get your "news" from here. lol. wow, I think I'd be embarassed to admit that if I were you! I should be embarrassed because I don't visit a bunch of idol related blogs and gossip sites? What the hell is musiccitytv, allmusiciffree, nashvillespill, dailyrindblog, and countrymusictattletale? Who visits those sites for their "news"? Foggy, do you really think the show wouldn't have gotten the same number of mentions if George Huff was going on it instead of Justin Guarini. Nearly all those articles are about the show not about Justin. It was just standard PR put out by the show. While you might think it is "news" it is just a bunch of fluff.

He's taking the work he can get and making a respectable living. So, he's going on Gone For The Money. Nothing wrong with that. If anyone is expecting this show to ignite anyone's career, draw a legion of new fans, garner him respect, I don't see it happening. What did the show do for Diana or Mikalah, or any of the "winners?" Since leaving the show, Bobby Brown got another reality show, and has a tell-all book coming out. This coming from a man while on the show who drank every bit of liquor in sight and peeded in a closet.

I'm sure they'll keep comin' while Yelly's career is so uncertain. Unfortunately, kelly is still fat, ugly, unhappy, and doing music she doesn't want to do (well, maybe, if they EVER release the new album that is, right? lol). Justin is happy, has a good solid career, and he looks finer than he ever has. So do your usual meanspirited little thang, and have fun y'all! :) As for Bobby Brown, well, at this point, let's face it, we all know Yelly has a drinking problem (thought the kfans are still in denial about it, but they know of course), and can no doubt even drink Bobby Brown under the table at this point. That rehab center is comin' soon! (oh that's right, she'll save that to get maximum publicity and PITY for it. That's her m.o. after all. Very sad excuse for a human being, that girl. Sad).

AND the album has been pushed back at least 3 times now. Every time the poor little darlings turn around they hear Yel-bel has to go back into the studio to record more, or re-record, not sure which. On top of that, so sad, all they know for sure is Dr. Luke is out there pimping the song HE wrote for her (this is a man they all hate too, I think they hate all men, lol, just a guess!), which has got to be killing them. Because it means Yelly's sold out (or ahem, excuse me, "kept her promise" to sell out) and is singing those crappy "U" songs again! One legacy is Dr. Luke is going to leave for Yelly, is she'll be known for having the worst named singles in the history of Pop music -- first, "Since U Been Gone" (and that is just BAD grammar! lol), and now, her new one, "My Life Sucks Without U." Wow, those are just reeeeeally bad titles, what can I say. hahahaha. But I digress ... lol ... So this thread is really all about, "Let's mock Justin, because we're Pea-Brains, and it makes us feel better about Yelly!" It just has the wrong thread title. (So you see, KCS is actually posting in the RIGHT thread). Answer: Because it was supposed to be kept on the down low, at first. Justin told us he was going to Nashville for a "secret project" but said he contractually couldn't tell us what is was. Two days later, it was published in over 200 media outlets, TV, newspapers, the net, everywhere! ... lol ... that Gone Country had its cast for Season 3. I'm sure most people heard about it that way, those who actually read newspapers for example or watch the news. It turns out the cast had gone to a club that night, and did a live show, including introducing everyone on stage. I guess they do that for the first episode of the show? (Not sure) Of course people in the audience grabbed vid of some of the performances and posted them on the net. By morning, every entertainment news source from People to the NY Times, to ET, you name, had the story. It was a deluge! lol. Which was kind of interesting, I never knew that show was so popular. Maybe it was George Clinton that got everybody talking, lol. (Although, almost every story had a pic of Clinton and Justin featured, for some reason we still can't figure out. Maybe the media thought people would be intrigued Justin's doing another music-based reality show? Don't know!). But besides all that, I wouldn't come here to start a new thread about Justin news, anyway! This board has its favs, and I respect that. I just read it for fun. ... And to occasionally respond to stupid Yelly fans who have nothing better to do than post lies about Justin. Meanspirited little sh*s that they are, and all . :) your paranoia is astounding foggy... sorry you think that by my posting this news about Justin I am mocking him. That says more about what you ACTUALLY think about his appearance on this show than anything else you've said so far. Reading Foggy numerous rants where she talks about Clarkson's fans, Kezbos as she calls them here in the post you quoted, always reminds me of the blind men from the Blind Men And The Elephant story, especially the one who walks up to the elephant and after feeling only its trunk became terrified and warned the others to watch out, because the elephant is a great, thick, muscular snake! Poor Foggy, her blindness may not be physical, but just as real, and as limiting. It's some funky fog she lives in. ETA: For those of you not familiar with the story, it's basically a story about 6 blind beggars who go to circus to check out the elephant, a creature none of them know anything about. Foggy "sees" what she wants to see and ignores all else. her "blindness" helps her maintain her delusions so I assume that is why she holds onto them. She paints Kelly fans as evil who worked tirelessly to ruin Justin's career because it allows her to rationalize why her favorite didn't do as well as expected following the show. She paints Kelly as this untalented, ugly, nasty person all the while forgetting that IF that were true and Justin STILL failed that makes him an even bigger failure because it begs the question why would America and the music industry invest so much time and energy into a person like that when (in her mind) they had someone of Justin's caliber right there ready to take off. She forgets that Kelly beat Justin with 58% of the vote on AI. She has beaten all other idols in sales world wide (and stateside only Carrie surpasses her) and she was really the only idol winner or contestant to emerge from the show who had immediate success both in sales and on radio until Carrie. It took them three more seasons to find another singer who had the talent and apparent charm to woo more than just the Idol audiences with their music. Kelly and Carrie are the benchmarks for success when it comes to Idol success. Hell take Idol out of the equation with either of them and they are STILL wildly successful and seen by their peers and industry insiders as strong and longlasting artists. Meanwhile, Justin is the cautionary tale of opportunity lost. People thought he'd be as big or bigger than Timberlake. No one expected him to tank the way he did and yes most of the blame is squarely on the shoulders of RCA and their gross mismanagement of his career but some of the blame has to go to Justin fans as well for not supporting him properly. They only purchased 140K of his debut CD. IMO if they had properly supported him he'd have had a much better chance of sustaining his contract with RCA and quite possibly moving past what was, at the time, the stigma of coming from American Idol.

I don't know if that's true, don't really care either, but I think if you're going draw a graph of how hated an idol's fans are by other idol fans, you'll probably find that it's a direct function of how successful their idol's become - although I wouldn't be at all surprised if the notorious Claymates are the exception to that (just saying).
