We can NOT lose Tom tonight No No No. That was almost as good as Tyson's Survivor confessionals!

Tom's presentation was the best part of the men's side.

Tom totally stayed cool and spoke his mind correctly.
Scott has to go. |

Herschel is trying to be taken serious. First show he proclaimed, I'm smarter than I look.
If you had to announce that it's clearly false. |

Tom has good ideas and should have been listened to, but was too socially awkward and was definitely driving the topic off task.

i was waiting for someone to say EEE was a bra size...of course, tom got it.
i had no idea scott hamilton was such a prick, although he did get the "together, we're a pair" line. as for tom interrupting the confessional, i bet he heard scott bashing him...so good move. yay, tom! |

Tom had some good ideas and to be fair, some lousy ones, however the key phrase there is ideas. Scott had none whatsoever. The only semblence of an idea he had
was the name, and well...

Chalk me up as a Tom fan.
When i first heard he was on this thing, I thought he would just act like a retard and be the first one fired, but he's ironically the most focused and determined of his team. |

God, I really like this guy...and he was so gracious to Little Asswipe Scott.

Adding to the Tom love! It was so satisfying to watch him kick ass in the boardroom. Clearly one of the most intelligent candidates.
Scott and Herschel were determined to label him "clown" and refused to take him seriously even though he was the only one on the team that had any decent ideas. They mistook his creativity for pure silliness, not realizing that it's possible, even necessary, to possess both qualities for true brilliance. Um, yeah, Scott, he was derailing your ideas because they needed to be derailed. They sucked! No doubt Tom's so-called frenetic approach came from this frustration over working with such close-minded people. And then they have the nerve to ask him to present. Which of course he did way better than any of them ever could--a major contribution, yet Scott calls him to the boardroom anyway, totally fixating on Tom as the only one fireworthy. Yeah, Scott, that went well. I love that even Joan Rivers commented on Tom's intelligence. I already liked her, too, but she's gone up several notches for me thanks to her recognition of Tom's awesomeness. |

I think "Senor Zappos" would have worked had he made it this character that got the woman the shoes, bag, or whatever she needed. Made it easy and
stress free. He knew that. Tom is a genius! Mad fucking genius!

Um, yeah, Scott, he was derailing your ideas because they needed to be derailed. They sucked! X That's what pissed me off about the whole thing. "Tom keeps derailing us!" "Tom keeps throwing ideas!" Yeah, it's called being pro-active. |

I think Tom threw out so many ideas that people didn't take him seriously. He did throw out some lame ones at the start but I was definitely behind him on
the Z thing.

When you've got 24 hours to make an entire advertising campaign from scratch, the faster someone can churn out ideas the more valuable they are to the
team. It doesn't matter if an idea is good or bad - you need to encourage both for the sake of brainstorming. Once you've got a nice list going,
that's when you examine each one and start ruling them out as "good" or "bad," and you'll very quickly find that one or two ideas
work really well. From there it's just deliberate and elaborate.
