I saw the trailer and it gave me chills. Almost everything reminded me of the original RWs. The cast, the confessionals, the drama. <3

I saw the trailer too and it looks great. It looks REAL! The pretty frat boys are going to confuse me but they seem to have some depth.

I recently watched the first season of the Real World and was in awe how it wasn't all about getting drunk and making out in hot tubs and being a dumb
cunt. After seeing this trailer I have a feeling this season will be closer to what the Real World originally was. <3 I'll be watching!

So Sarah used to date women, JD is gay and Anderson Cooper's ex and we have a transexual. Wow three homosexuals on the show? Interesting, I was going to
say this is a first but Hawaii had a similiar situation in Kaia, Ruthie and Justin.

The argument for that is they thought they were a woman all along, they were just given a malfunction part. I also know someone who is in the process of
changing and she considers herself straight.
eta: There is a whole community called GLBT which is Gay Lesbian Bi and Transgendered community, so that could be part of that community, but it's not for just gay people. |

BBj knows "plenty of transexuals"? I've been out for many years and live in the liberal/gay area of Seattle, and I know none. I think I need to
get out more. Where do you meet "plenty of transexuals" BBj?

I wouldn't automatically call a transgender a homosexual or gay. Who cares if they thought they were born in the wrong body, had a sex change, and began
dating people of the gender they used to be?
Anyway, saw the trailer, and it looks really good! Lots of drama, this ought to be good. In other news, there's an alleged list of people competiting on The Duel 2, the next installment of the RW/RR Challenge. Here's the names in case you wanna know. |

seaguy wrote: Well when I first came out they were always at the clubs and just became aquaintences. About 4 years ago a friend of mine who frequented drag shows and pageants invited me to go along with him. I decided why not, it could be fun to watch the shows and turns out it was. In the process at the pageants a lot of the "girls" were in the audience and I was introduced to them. Long story short there are pageants all over the country and there is this whole subculture of devoted fans who go to the shows, trade DVD's of shows, and treat the girls as celebrities. So that is how I know these transexuals I even know a few sex changes. All kinds of girls, prostitutes, drug addicts, real estate agents, hairdressers, porn starts, Ive met them all. Genesis Moss from the Real World Boston used to date one of the girls named Danielle Hunter who is from Florida. |

I am really excited about the season. I just watched the trailer and it gave me chills. It sounds like the producers are moving this show back to how it used
to be. I am SOOO glad that they don't have a stupid job. I love the seasons where they get to do their own thing. The last time someone had their own job
was probably RW Chicago when Tonya had to work as a waitress to pay for her medical bills. Too bad she is a seething cunt now

I'm assuming they're still going to have them stick with the work rule - you get and keep a job or you're kicked out of the house.
I think they've always had the option of getting another job outside of the one they are forced to go since I don't think they go to that one everyday. Frankie (R.I.P) had another job during San Diego working at a convenience store I think. |
