It's funny, when I saw the merge color I thought it was so un-Africa but with Kenny's get-up, maybe the tribes in Gabon like to use that bright blue color and that's where the inspiration came from.

So Kenny most likely gets his get-up from the reward right?

Yes and either Crystal or Bob have something red on. Kenny's new outfit might be consisitant with what the 3rd figure in the F5 walk wears in VG's
images. She also names Matty, Sugar, then Kenny, Crystal and Susie as the F5 in her collage...if that's true Bob is eliminated this week.
If they have an mini ATC Bob will get the $100k. |

If that's what Sugar has planned, it would be a pretty simple maneuver, waiting till the votes are cast to move the Idol to the intended user. That's the simplest, but it doesn't make good sense. (Unless the promo meant to say "simple-minded" plan.) If Sugar, or anyone, wants to pull an idol trick, why make a big deal out of wearing the idol? Isn't the obvious, paranoid, question for everyone "What if she doesn't go through with it?" If they got those outfits at reward, the third clean shirt person should have one, too. Presumably yellow? |

Blatantly wearing it to TC then passing it to someone after the voting seems like a simple plan. I still see all but Susie, or her dreamteam doppelganger, in the F5 walk past the huts but I can't see why she would be the one targeted by such a move. It would seem Sugar would want to take out Kenny or Mattybird. |

Since Sugar is apparently wearing the HII while going to TC, maybe Corrine's statement that the HII is only good thru day 36 is correct.

If Susie were booted, that would be a "shocking turn of events".
I know it's simple for Sugar to give the idol to someone, but what is the plan that is simple? She tells everyone she's going to play it, and backs that up by wearing it openly. If they trust her and she keeps her word, simple enough. But there's no check to make sure she follows through. (Her route to the finals is pretty clear, just because of the onion-hate. Even if she screws over two people here, there's two people left in the game who benefited, so hard to guarantee she is the next boot in payback.) Or, she tells some subset of allies that she's going to tell everyone else she is going to play it, but really she's going to give it to one of them. Not terribly complicated, but again, no check to make sure she doesn't keep it or give it to someone else. |

There could be a shocking turn of idol swapping at the TC
Bob wins immunity so the plan is to vote for Matty. Sugar and Matty's plan is to blindside Kenny. Honorable Bob surprises everyone by actually giving his IN to Kenny per his promise. Sugar's plan is ruined. After the vote Sugar gives Matty the HII and Susie has the second highest vote. . . . just a thought . . . |

A simple plan is hatched to put the hidden immunity idol into play, resulting in a shocking turn of events at Tribal CouncilSounds like the plan involves the hidden idol. If they want to "blindside" Kenny, they just vote for him, no need to involve the idol. Why would Bob win the immunity challenge, if he feels like he has made a serious promise to give immunity to Kenny? Why not come in a close second - Kenny can't blame you for trying, Kenny's turncoat allies can't blame you for screwing up their plan, and you don't re-emphasize your own status as immunity threat. The only way it makes sense for Bob to win is if he plans to give the necklace to Ken, but expects the idol from Sugar. But why target Susie, rather than Matty? |

I admit this is a harebrain, way out scenario, but it does sorta fit so I just floated it out there
In defending my harebrain I'm thinking if there were just a straight vote it would be a 3 3 tie, even with Bob's vote, so he is not let in on the Sugar / Matty blindside plan. Honorable Bob would still try his best at the IC because it's in his nature. He waits until Probst asks at TC to fulfill his promise because he doesn't want to be pre targeted. . . . just floating it out there . . . |

But if it were a surprise would they talk openly in TC of changing the target from Matty?
The only really odd part of the Harebrain Scenario is why Susie and not Crystal? |

What about the HII? Can it be passed after the vote? That would go with the "idols being played differently this year". No one has ever passed it
after the vote before, have they?

Not harebrained, brainstorming! Thinking creatively! Out of the box! Smoke more iboga!
would they talk openly in TCWell, Crystal has paved the way for shouting openly... I think I could work my way around to targeting Susie if everyone has become convinced that she has the most compelling jury story (a la Denise). Could Matty's girlfriend have blurted out about him blowing the trust fund? |

But has anyone ever given it away at TC? Sugar still has one more TC that she can use the idol too so Corrine was wrong.

urrout wrote: No one ever has. The Horseman had talked about calling an audible and moving the idol if they thought the vote had changed, but didn't do it. Could this be why Corrine thought that this was the last time the Idol could be used?! If Ken gets 4 votes and Matty 2, but Sugar gives the Idol to Ken after the votes have been read- it gives us the Ken "blindside" , a Matty boot, and a new way of playing the Idol. The big reason I've been feeling so strongly towards a Matty boot has been the "Fellow Fang Forest Foragers" clue from Phoenix. That seemed to scream "Fang F4" - which would imply that it is not a Fang F5, meaning Bob lasts one more TC. |

I'm just gonna put these things together. From the article:
...with castaways voting from the heart and not the heads.A quote from Crystal this episode: "My heart tells me take Matty out. Corinne is no threat to me in no way, shape or form. This is like my only chance to really get him out and it's been wrecking my brain. The mental part of this game is kicking my ass."But Corinne ended up leaving. Don't know if it has any significance, but these quotes seemed to fit together pretty well. |
