With what? I know plenty of casual viewers, and they don't careone way or the other about the idol. The show is about the castaways, and the idol makes the
show all about itself, which is boring. Why should I care about who has the idol if I barely know who they are?

It's only a sacrifice if the castaways are particularly interesting. But I find most people do be about the same with the exception of an occasional

Really though, how far can you take the idol? We have basically seen everything it can do. Not only that, but as I said before, it never causes a powerful shift that is interesting. |
