Mcronesia would have been better if they had done a full ASS season. The vast majority of fans sucked!!!! Only Tracy and, maybe, Natalie, were worth
watching....

I loved it at the time but it really doesn't hold up on a re-watch. IMO, China and Gabon are both better than Micronesia.

I probably need to clarify what I wrote last night...I enjoyed Micronesia as it was airing, but the fact that the fans weren't allowed to speak because it
was a bloated cast and they had to give Parvati credit for winning ticked me off enough. That and the multiple idols (yes, including Alexis's boot which is
the single worst episode of all time) didn't allow me to enjoy it as much as others, obviously, did. Now, it's not a failure as a season or anything
like that, I'd even consider it the best out of the 19+ people seasons (Palau, Cook Islands, Fiji), but overall, I have zero idea to how Micronesia gets so
much praise. Even though I was ecstatic about the return of the final two, it doesn't make up for the fact that the producers thought we already knew the
favorites. This meant we didn't have to meet anyone in the game whether they were a fan or favorite (exceptions are Kathy, Tracy, and maybe Erik).

All it has going for it are the blindside moments and the (at that time) unpredictable girls running the show twist. The cast interaction is very boring, fans
especially don't give anything to the camera. Chet sucked with his damn moping. The firefighter guy was as retarded as Ogre from Revenge of the Nerds and
shouldn't have ever been cast. Tracy's fake boobs will tear your eyes out through the screen. Mikey was ok so of course he gets a numbers trap against
him and goes early. Jason didn't know it was a fucking stick. (Ok, that was worth his otherwise useless spot on the season.) Mary who? Kathy is crazy
(which can be gold) but super wimpy and quits, how boring. Alexis and Natalie... they're both twits. Erik is ok but letting himself get played like that is
just absurd. Ami, Eliza, Penner, and Yau-Man didn't help by failing to secure a real favorites counter-alliance and Johnny Fairplay walking the first
episode was stupid. Yeah all in all it was overrated but that's because it actually was a surprising last half of the game at the time, just not so
interesting to watch anymore.

Yau sucked.
Fairply sucked. Jonathan cried twice. Eliza had funny moments. Cirie fucked up the last challenge. The best moments came from the fans and from Naj's threads. |
