Micronesia was the most overrated season ever. It was good, I admit, but I think because it had former players is why people may think it was better than it
actually was and without Cirie, this season would have been alot more boring. I say, this, because the fans were awful. And, the four most boring made it the
furthest and they were dumb as a box of rocks.

i totally agree. i mean the end of the season was good, but in order to be "omgz the best season ever" you need to have a lo of interesting people.
chet = boring joel = boring mikey = boring natalie = boring for the majority of the show, but ill at least say she ended up being awesome alexis = boring fairplay = quit kathy - quit this seasons fans just didnt stand out. gabon has a much more interesting group of people |

Micronesia was the most overrated season ever. It was good, I admit, but I think because it had former players is why people may think it was better than it actually wasX to that part, but the rest is bull. The fans were not duds because they sucked (except Alexis). They were duds because the editors just had to shove the favorites down our throats. Add the fact that it was a 20 people season results with half the cast getting ignored, and you have a shitty season. The only reason people like it is because of the awesome final 5 and Erik/Ozzy's boot, but I started getting sick and tired of hearing "OMGZ MICRONESIA IS THE BEST SEASON EVER!!!" a long time ago. Had the producers not rehidden the idol a million times for Amanda to find like they should have, Natalie and Alexis are without a doubt the final two, and the season would have been edited much more fairly all around. |

Maybe not in hindsight when you look at the season on paper, but I hadn't been as entertained or excited about Survivor as I was with Micronesia's
post-merge episodes since pre-ASS. Edgic and boring contestants and lop-sided editing aside, I just plain enjoyed it more than most.

Micronesia was fucking awesome! And not just because of the former players - it had the best blindsides, great characters, great scenery and loads of drama.
I don't agree with the first posters assertion that without Cirie, it would have been more boring. There were heaps of other characters that were more interesting than her - she had a lot of strategy which was great, but she really didn't bring much else to the game, like others did. But all up - I loved Micronesia. |

It didn't have the best cast, but it had the best post-merge storyline in memory. Pre-merge was entertaining enough, too. I think China, Micronesia, and
Gabon have all been steps in the right direction since the series died around ASS.

Micronesia was a great season. Two favorites (Jonathan, James) were voluntary exit the game because of their injuries. They couldn't back the game and they
healed in the reunion.

Micronesia deserves all the praises. The blindsides were awesome. Every episode I'm screaming in front of the TV.

Personally I think that any season that involves 3 people essentially quitting and another 2 being medivac'd out cannot be considered an awesome season.
Plus I refuse to believe that Parvati can be considered anyone's favourite. Sure, she may have played a good game her second time around, but she was absolutely useless and unmemorable in Cook Islands. But maybe I am just pissed that Peih Gee was not in the cast - now SHE would have been a favourite! |

micronesia only seemed like a decently good season because it came soon after the two worst in the show's history. cook islands especially reset the
standards to such a low level that i actually stopped giving a shit for some time. there were weeks mid-season during cook islands when i actually hoped the
show would get interrupted or cancelled. and fiji was an abomination.

I loved MICRONESIA while it was airing. Looking back, some players were really ignored and I just want to skip to the blindside parts. Other than that, I
don't care about the other episodes.

The 'Fans' had about as much personality as a patient in a coma. Natalie had potential when she started being a raging bitch but it came too late in to
the game. The rest stank, both in gameplay and personality.
The 'Faves' weren't much better because the most smug, dislikable, twat-stains stayed in the longest, whereas likable players like Yau-Man and Eliza went too early. It was a good season but it was mainly down to the numerous blindsides, if it didn't have them the season would have fallen flat. China was better and Gabon is better (so far). |
