I take it things didn't go well for you during your last shopping escapade?

Only hot people are allowed to work there, too.

At least for guys, once your waist size goes above 28, you're left looking in the back of the rack for the fat section...

Girls are not allowed to have breasts at this store. There is no room in the clothes for them.

I find that attractive people don't look very attractive in Abercrombie & Fitch clothes. They really don't have nice looking clothes. You could
take 80% of the outfits off the rack, walk them across the street to the Gap, and nobody would know the difference.
It doesn't help that you google Abercrombie & Fitch and you get a page full of pictures of people not wearing any clothes. Why does anybody bother to shop there?

I had a sweater from there ages ago and it sucked, terribly scratchy and overpriced crap.
And when I see the ads, I always think, "Why are those anorexic girls trying to make out with gay guys?" |

the only good A&F thing i have is a hoodie, which is warm and utilitarian, has been going strong for 3 years.
other than that. ... yea, A&F went out of style once the teenagers started mobbing it away from the gays |

I quite wearing A & F years ago, but I still stumble into their store every time I'm at the mall.
Do most of my shopping at Banana Republic now. |

True story: This weekend I was at a party and this 5'7 guy with bleach blond hair and an orange tan said that he modeled for Abercrombie. I thought he was
certainly joking and basically said something to the effect of "yeah fucking right." The little dude became very offended that I questioned his
status as an official Abercrombie model, flipped out, started personally insulting me, literally went in his room and got his laptop and pulled up his myspace
to show me his modeling glamour shot (like anyone gave a fuck) and started threatening to beat a friend of mine's ass (who was sitting there quietly having
nothing to do with it) until we just left in a fit of hysterical laughter.
So not only do their overpriced clothes suck, their "models" (or their wannabe models) are apparently insufferable little assholes. |

The only people who wear A&F are kids. My 8 year old niece and 11 year old nephew love their store.
Last year, my sister went there a couple of times, and they kept asking her to work the front of the store during the holidays. So she did, and they made her purchase their overpriced clothes to model. She hated working there. True story. |

I hate A&F... their clothes are boring and so poorly made that they fall apart after one wash. Plus, as mentioned above, anyone higher than a B cup need
not even bother.
I do have a friend addicted to the perfume though... |

A&F is for middle schoolers, I thought that everyone knew that.

unkle greggo wrote:I would X this, but I bought a sweater on Saturday from there (the first time in at least four years I've bought something from there). It fits quite nicely, and the moose is small enough that you can't see it except if you're next to me. I like it. The one thing that I have seen over the past few years is that they have considerably toned down their employees' "we're better than you" attitude. At least at the store I went to, the employees were nice, not all of them were hot, and all were willing to help you out if you had a question. It's quite a departure from the first time I went into an A&F store. |

Does anyone else remember the random A and F protests they had for a while? Do politicians still do that or are they mostly just worried about the gaes?
p.s. what's up with all the soap opera avis lately? |
