I've finally broken down and decided to start my own ranking thread.� Figuring I'd try something a little different than the usual reality tv contestant stuff, I'm going to rank my top 8 Ren & Stimpy moments of all time.
For those not familiar with the show, Ren & Stimpy was created as part of the original Nick Toons lineup on Nickelodean by John Kricfalusi back in the
early 90's. The show featured Ren Hoek, an asthmahound chihuaua, and his best friend, Stimpy, a fat tail less cat. While it aired on Nickelodeon, this show
was far from the standard kids stuff, but instead featured moments of ferocious anger and absolute insanity.� In fact thats what makes up the majority of this
list. I was 9 or 10 years old when the show first started airing and I became hooked right away.� The show was quite good for its first two seasons, but issues
between Nick and creator John K over violence, budgets and deadlines eventually came to a head and he was fired.� While the show stayed on the air for quite a
while after that point, it quickly spiraled down in quality (only 1 segment on this ranking is from after his firing) and was eventually cancelled after 5
seasons and 52 episodes.� The show made a short lived return on Spike TV a few years ago, but was quickly cancelled after only�3 episode aired. IMHO if this
show had lasted as long as Family Guy or the Simpsons, it definately could have been in the same stratosphere as them. Unfortunately its short life will
prevent that from ever happening, but it will always be something I have fond memories of.� In making this list I focus on those moments that were the most
memorable to me and remain in my mind all these years later. Thankfully most if not all are trackable on You Tube in some form.� As a short preview, here's
one scene that's not on my list, but is a good primer on the insanity that is to come.
