Mario Ferreyra was giving an interview on top of a water tank at his home in the northern province of Tucuman. Police were coming to arrest him when he killed himself. Mr Ferreyra was wearing his customary black shirt and cowboy hat and told the interviewer that he was innocent and had not committed any crimes. He then told his wife, Maria, that he would love her forever, pulled a pistol from his boot and shot himself behind the ear.

The world is a better place without him. Did he even think of the entertainment value for the viewers? Hanging, shotgun blast, a gasoline enema followed by a blow torch ass raping. People need to realise that they are never going to get the ratings with a simple OD.

I had only met him once, so his death didn't really mean anything to me, but it fucked up my mother and other members of her family, and it devastated his 3 kids, who were in their mid-late teens when he did it. 2 of the the 3 are now dead themselves, one of his sons died in a San Francisco apartment, probably from suicide, and his daughter died in a car crash after working two jobs, having 2-3 drinks, and falling asleep at the wheel of her car. My Uncle is buried at Arlington National Cemetery, yet I will always consider him to be a coward and a loser.
