New commercial is out, just saw it.
Jeff has a small handheld video player, showing the survivors a message from home, and then they flash 'Marriage Proposal?' with the voiceover saying "And a marriage proposal?" *Crystal and someone else holding hands jumping up and down* VO: "Really?" VO: The Survivors get messages from home. *NOTE: They were in the background scene of the press release photo showing the 7 of them.* (Clip of Jeff showing them) Caption "Marriage Proposal? VO: And a Marriage Proposal? (Crystal/someone else jumping up and down excited/giggling) VO: Really? That's what I remember from the short 5-8 seconds. I'm sure it'll be up soon |

Thanks for embedding!
Normal promo editing would say Crystal is the decoy proposal, but apparently she does have a live-in BF. Could the whole Matty food/dog/girlfriend thing have been a decoy, propped up by Crystal's extra negative edit, and really the proposal makes her amazonian yet non-athletic self "endearing"? So what is Bob up to? Presumably, to explain last week, he's going with the story that Sugar must have found the real one, and left the fake one which he innocently found. (She's been making clothes and banners and such, and obviously was beside herself at the last tribal counil, so that should be credible.) Here's the croquet ball again, did we ever get a better look at it? And the montage of all the other idols. From the clip, Bob's new one sure looks more like Bob's old one than like either the croquet one or Sugar's...

I don't think the ball was apart of the idol, was it? I just went back to the episode, and when Randy picked up the idol, the ball wasn't attached.

yeah that one doesn't look like the one they set adrift. although with the VO asking it in a question, i'm thinking it's a real one. how, i dunno.
but maybe that's why they didn't show Bob looking for anything on his last visit to Exile.

Thanks to birdlady for the idol comparisons. I stared at that picture for a while when I noticed something:

Yeah, but there's idols all over everywhere this season. Probably some of those little heads come with every tree mail, they're on the torches, any
random challenge apparatus anyone pocketed... (Remember Bob stealing the peach from the beach picnic?) Bob's probably got a whole bag of idols, going to
give them out to all the loved ones, send one home with Matty for the dog's collar, ...

That makes sense. Thanks Birdlady.

What if the conversation about the floating idol really being in Marcus' pocket is just Bob and Corinne brainstorming, that's not what they decide to
do, so it doesn't go any further?
What is Sugar's story for Crystal/Matty/Ken/Susie? Does she say she made the fake idol, and left it at Exile for Bob to find? She's craftsy, and certainly had plenty of time out there to practice, and letting her take credit works best for Bob, too. Or does she tell the real story, which spills both that she and Bob have some understandings, and that he is an old, sneaky, idol-making man? As far as we know, Susie has not seen Sugar's idol, and Crystal/Matty/Ken only got a quick partial look. None of them got a good look at the idol Randy presented at tribal council. Could any of them be fooled by the latest fake? |

VG has this shot of the Feast Hidden Idol in the bottle. She also had another of something in the bottle floating. ....Unless Bob put a fake one in there. The
Corinne Idol is good fake, but it's not real. VG is also listing the mask challenge as a future challenge. The only person missing is Corinne, unless you
think she, not Ken, is the purple streak.
They really aught to hire Bob for their art department.

Bob has serious fake idol fever. One of the rewards must have been a shopping spree at Fake Hidden Immunity Idols Я Us.
I think he must just be stuck in using that as his strategy to keep staying one more tribal council. At least hoping that it will keep him in the game long enough to where the Fang alliance will start to break up, and he'll have a chance at siding with someone besides a defunct onion alliance member. |

You know, it seems possible that the promos are mixing challenges from the next two episodes. It could also be possible that they're showing us Bob's
fake idol shenanigans from two episodes, too. Maybe he has one scam with the floating idol, then another with the second fake idol.

So from Survivor Phoenix's latest montage, the face on Bob's second fake idol looks the most like the faces on the individual immunity necklaces,
apparently as we saw them at the first individual immunity challenge. What did those necklaces look like by the time they got to the E7 tribal council? Did
they still have all their faces? (We know Bob steals peaches, with Marcus' complicity, and we know Sugar vandalizes burlap bags. Seems like either one of
them could have lifted a face or two...)

considering each one of the faces has a unique pattern on its head, and the fact that Bob's fake necklace part deux has the same pattern as the top right
head on the Holiday Wreath necklace, I'm with you that Bob absconded with it. If, at this next IC, the top right head on the Holiday Wreath has been
replaced by a head of a different pattern, we'll know where Bob got it from.

Wouldn't the producers want items back exactly as they are. They auction these items off on E-Bay after the show and they wouldn't be able to do see if
parts of it were missing. Maybe they would let a player take a small item like a nametag or a piece of a challenge, but a big ticket item like that immunity
necklace Jeff takes back.
That being said how could Corrine fall for another idol that Bob produces when she knows the one Bob gave Randy was fake? The preview shows Bob implying the new idol is fake, and before the show started Jeff talked about how dumb the people were with the immunity idol. Could Randy and now Corrine be what he was talking about? It sure looks like it is possible. |
