Kona - what about white? There could be a white station next to Susie, and the a red one next to the white one. We see that they are using both white and black
in the aerial shots with the huts/maze challenge.
And Sam - I only see five stations on that platform: Black, Blue, Yellow, Red, and White And as I said in the other challenge thread - I think that perhaps what we are seeing with the people shots is everyone heading to the beginning of the maze (as I think the platforms are the end of the challenge). |

or even them leaving to go back to camp. challenge is over. they still need to block out shots for any departures don't they?

White was my first thought for a lane next to Susie. But the trim on the tables is white+lane color, so white and white would be kinda uninteresting. Maybe
ecru or something...
It just seems weird that they would use yellow and blue (tribe colors) but not red. |

So i think having white as a colour is out. although i do agree with you that since white is used in other challenges, there is nothing to stop them from using any dang colour they want. And there easily could be another lane hidden to the left of suzie. |

It could very well be red. The colors only need to be visually stimulating for the viewers anyway - all the competitors are blindfolded!!
I say it's either red or white. We'll just have to wait and see. Whatever color it is, it's Corinne's color. 
Also - that shot of Matty trying to make his way into the maze has me thinking a few things: 1. How are they supposed to know if they made it into the right color shoot if they are blindfolded?? 2. Perhaps Kenny was SO off course that he had a hard time getting into the shoots properly and that is why he appears to be so far behind?? 3. What are those little yellow bundles at the tops of the posts?

If there were a seventh lane, making it a next week F7 challenge, then it would fit with Corinne being in shots of what we presume to be the loved ones
arrival. SOMEONE has to be directing color coded Mattybird to his correct color coded lane.
Just a thought. Marcus, Charlie and Randy had to leave the Ponderosa this week. Was that because that's where the loved ones were staying? Could they be staying over two episodes? |

I think there could be a white lane.. Like in China, during the final reward challenge, Amanda's colour was white while the wall and the puzzle blocks were
light grey, so I always thought that put her at a slight disadvantage since the colour would be less obviously seen, but it didn't seem to stop her.

it looks like black netting halfway between the 1st and 2nd station. Perhaps they have to crawl over it. Not that it changes anything, just mentioning it.
ETA: do they often have back to back maze/coloured station challenges like this? It just seems really odd to me that they'd have a coloured station/rope maze/coloured station puzzle challenge then the very next eppy, have a maze/coloured station/hut maze/coloured station puzzle challenge. If it wasn't for the quantity of coloured stations, i'd think that was one big SuCha. Or maybe they can't do much else but mazes and puzzles in the barren termite ridden wasteland. Anyway, just random late night thoughts.

do they often have back to back maze/coloured station challenges like this?Remember in Cook Islands when they had 23 in row that were swim out, dive down, collect the puzzle pieces, etc? I think the last one was supposed to be balance/control (like winter biathalon, for you curling fans), and this one is much more agility and feel. Hopefully they will work the termites into a challenge before we're done. It does seem like there must be something after the masks we see them working on. Probst isn't in much of a place to call the winner, for one thing, and plugging in a set of lips is kind of a lowkey ending. |

As I was watching TAR, a quadruple(four part) commerical for Survivor:Gabon came on. One showed them all sloshing through mud. Tethered? An earlier challenge?
Sugar was in it.Then they showed them looking at a little TV screen with loved ones obviously saying "Hello" via pre-taped segments somewhere? Live?
And Crystal particularly jumping up and down and then it seemed maybe the Loved Ones do show up. But that could be the next episode, the week after next(?) or
maybe it's this week's.
THEN they had something about a marriage proposal? Could be Crystal, Sugar, Matty? THEN they showed a little chaper-ette of this rather over-stuffed promo, with Bob and Corrine vis a vis the HII that Marcus hid and I think Bob shows it to her, or something like that. And they show Marcus throwing the bottle out into the ocean. And was it hidden by Marcus or wasn't it? And Bob says something about "I think this is it. It looks like it." And Corrine totally buying into it.... QUITE a lot going on in one little itty-bitty commerical. I guess since the Recrap they feel they've gotta throw everything AND the kitchen sink into the promos for this week to get their viewers back...AND THEY DO. So it sum up it showed 1)Challenge in mud, tethered 2)Loved Ones via TV set(and then they show up? Wasn't shown) 3)Someone gets a marriage proposal. Probably a male loved one proposing via the TV (or whatever it was) to Sugar? Crystal? 4)Bob& Corrine and the NEW HII(real? or faux?)
