The story to each of your tasks are a little more creative but they're essentially the same thing Different to mine - You don't rely on a luck task when you can't think of something better, but I think some of my tasks were pretty creative, too (like the navigating ones) although my personal favourite was the Mexico roadblock Different to yzysg's - You don't have terrifying logic puzzles and needless twists Different to smiley's - You have actual tasks, instead of just posting the next direction. The same is true with Smiley's races, but I won't degrade Crow by lumping his race in with those shit-fests. As for the one Kat race I ran, it seemed very simple with more puzzles than necessarily creative writing tasks. I can only remember one, and that was where Gil sent locusts to kill someone for not buying a dog.

DDU was one of two teams to run smiley's first season and then ATTAR2 (the other being Sharon Tyler). And, with actual tasks and challenge, DDU did very well for himself. He managed to make another fascinating team after Cobra Commander to one of unique interest and realism. Lisa & Tybias was based off of DDU himself and took aspects of his mom and him to create an interesting and funny team. They had wit, grace, and style. Team Members: Lisa: The mother of the pair. I would compare this role to Toni, although a little more authoritarian. Lisa was a single mom and worked hard to make sure both had good opportunities. As a result, she was a little strict on Tybias but didn't mind him flirting with Talulah too much. She was conservative to a point but when the race called for some dirty tactics, she was not afraid to resort to them. She showed love and support for Tybias and at the end of the day, they both really loved each other. Tybias: He was the meathead of the group, just like Dallas. Despite being gruff and horny sometimes, he managed to follow his mother's orders. However, he still wanted to cuss and tried every opportunity to away from his mom. It was interesting that he was biracial and established his identity early in the season. He had a relationship with Tallulah, but this ultimately fell through when 1 of the hobo mactors slept with her. Regardless, he was smart, funny, and caring. Just like every mother wants. Race Summary: Lisa & Tybias began Leg 1 a little late, but that nonetheless did not stop their hilarity… Take the subway to JFK Lisa: What the hell is a subway? Tybias: Are you serious!? Lisa: Toby, don't have to be nasty. I've never been in America before. Tybias: Neither have I! Haven't you ever seen Law & Order? Lisa: Yeah. I like that girl. Tybias: Olivia? Lisa: Yeah. Tybias: Yeah, she's the best! Lisa: ... Tybias: ... Lisa: ...what were we talking about again? Tybias: To the subway! And then came the first skit showing how strict Lisa was… Lisa: CURSE YOU YUKU! Tybias: FUCKING GAYYYY! Lisa: smacks Tybias Tybias: Sorry mum. After receiving their clue from a scantily clad girl, Tybias was in amazement. The pair became even more excited when they traveled to Wimbledon and met Pete Sampras. And nearly 8 hours after 12 other teams finished, Lisa & Tybias made it in 13th. Moving to Romania, the pair lost a huge lead at the start by helping other teams out with flights. As a result, the pair shifted back to the bottom half. However, this was the longest leg ever in TAR History (lasting nearly 12 hours), and with the right time and no life, Lisa & Tybias shot back up and breezed through the roadblock and detour. They checked in 5th at the pit stop after begging to passerbys. Luck hit the team again as they landed their first plane and were off to Russia. At the Detour, which required them to catch Omul, the pair experienced difficulty with the task… Lisa: Are you serious!? Tybias: WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT!? ARGH! Lisa: Calm down! Tybias: NO! This damn book is wrong! Man. This SUCKS! We've blown our lead! Lisa: Don't worry. We're going to catch more. Tybias: ARGH! Lisa: Be quiet son. We won't have ANY fish to catch because you'll scare them away. …which dropped them from 1st to 6th. The pair still checked in 6th and became annoyed that they had to begin the next leg right away… Tybias: WHAT THE FUCK PHIL!? WHAT THE FUCK! Lisa: YOU SCUMBAG! taxi to Irkutsk train station Tybias: I would've beaten him up if he wasn't so awesome. Lisa: I would've beaten him up if he wasn't so darn sexy. Tybias: Mum. That is gross. The pair chose the 98 train because they had no idea what was going on (to be fair no one else did) and unknowingly set themselves up for domination in the next leg. When they awoke in Pyongyang, the pair got off to a wild start… run out of train and get Guide 2 Tybias: Number 2! Lisa: WHAT!? RIGHT NOW!? Tybias: No, as in this guy! At the detour, the pair exhibited extreme luck by choosing cave 88 and finding the clue on the first try… Tybias: Oh. My. Fucking. God. Lisa: Are you serious!? Tybias: Shit motherfucker cunt of testicles. Lisa: Ok, I get it. I let you swear once and you think you can do it again!? Well not in front of me! smacks Tybias with closed Asian fan …and the pair shot past the competition in both Koreas. They checked in first for the first time and could not be more ecstatic. The pair then flew off to Japan where they were hit with some pressing issues at the Intersection, but not before dealing with a certain TARA person… Tybias: Mum! I think I just saw Rovilson! Lisa: Where!? gets out nunchucks Tybias: See! There! Lying on the ground. Lisa: Quick let's go beat him up. Lisa and Tybias run over to Rovilson and start beating him up Lisa: Step on his face son! Tybias: I am! If only I could trample on his scripted humour... Lisa: Ok that's enough. whacks Rovilson one more time on the head Tybias: LEG IT! …and then faced a pressing issue at the detour…see an Intersection! Lisa: DARNIT! The 2 teams we want to work with are behind us. Tybias: Who, Betty and Raymond and the girls? Lisa: Yeah. CRAP! Do we wait for them? Tybias: I don't know... …but chose to intersect with Julie & Adelaide instead of their Aussie Alliance partners. This is odd to me considering Julie & Adelaide got into a fight with them later in the leg, but that won't be covered here. With quick updates and a smart luck choice at the detour, the pair checked in first yet again. Amazingly, this was the first time a team had gotten two consecutive firsts without the use of a fast forward. In Leg 6, the pair first traveled to Hong Kong and had some difficulty counting the numerous lanterns. However, they were more agonized with leaving their native country and traveling south to Vietnam. The pair still managed to keep their spirits up with some funny banter…. Tybias: Mum, I swear I'm the only one with a peen here. Lisa: A what? Tybias: A PENIS MUM! Lisa: Oh. Well, ladies are better racers. Tybias: Yeah, the girls this season are kicking arse. eyes Akari, Mira and Tallulah And they're damn hot too. Lisa: What was that son? Tybias: Read the damn clue. At the Roadblock, which required them to order 5 Vietnam events in chronological order, Lisa & Tybias were confounded with what to do… Tybias: Mum, I flunked history. Lisa: No you didn't! I saw you get an A! Tybias: No, I changed the mark with a computer. Anyway, that's not the point, I think you should do it. Lisa: Ok son. Lisa will do the roadblock! …they didn't fall completely behind as they came out 3rd. However, one of their events was the My Lai Massacre, which they then proceeded to head to as the pit stop. They were touched (in reality too) and DDU PMed me to thank me for the task. Anyways, the pair were not happy to visit another country but were bused off to Cambodia. However, not before giving one of the most emotional speeches of the season… Lisa: I just wrote about this in the Roadblock starts crying Tybias: hugs Lisa Oh God, I can't bear to think about what these innocent people had to go through. Lisa: I'll never understand how low people are willing to go...I mean, to slaughter women and children... Tybias: Why can't everyone just live in peace and forget about power and shit like that? When will we learn? …Things didn't brighten up for the pair when they went to one of Cambodia's former prisons and learned about the horrors at Tuol Sleng. Looking back, this leg wasn't one of the cheerful, but it did have a lot of meaning to me. In the only gross food task in all of the ATTAR history (though not for long), Lisa elected to eat the tarantulas and became really excited about it. Then changed her mind… I <3 this pic. eat all 5 tarantulas Lisa: Oh my goodness, this is dry retches sicker than I expected. Tybias: Eat that shit mum! Lisa: TOBY BE QUIET! Ok, here I go takes bite out of first one. Man that is bad! Goodness it tastes like...vomits...poo and all sorts of nasty things. Oh man I don't think I can do this... Tybias: Put the damn thing in your mouth and CHEW! Lisa: SHUT THE HELL UP TOBY I'M CHEWING. This is so sick. Oh God, nearly there...one more bite finishes first tarantula ARGH BHUDDA GIVE ME STRENGTH TO TAKE THIS DOWN! Toby, you don't know how bad this is. Tybias: MUM! Oh my God you said you would do it easy! Lisa: I would, if it didn't taste like beef jerky that's been excreted and vomitted on. Tybias: Come on, you're halfway there. Lisa: vomits This is just so disgusting. KILL ME NOW! I DON'T WANT TO DO THIS ANYMORE! Tybias: MUM, IF YOU QUIT I SWEAR TO YOU I WILL GET A B MINUS ON MY NEXT TEST AND EVERYONE WILL LOOK AT YOU AS A FAILURE! Lisa: Don't EVER say that! scoffs down 2 tarantulas Tybias: That's the spirit! 1 more to go! Lisa: I'm going to kill you when I finish this. Tybias: I don't give a fuck mum! Hurry up! Teams are already passing us! Lisa: eats the last one THERE I FUCKING ATE IT!? YOU HAPPY NOW HUH!? FUCKING SHIT ROADBLOCK! Tybias: Yeah! Good work! …the pair lost their lead at the roadblock and the detour and finished in a decent 8th. And then came Papua New Guinea. After having some fairly good luck at the airport, Lisa & Tybias were hit with the most confusing roadblock ever. EVER… Tybias will do the roadblock! Lisa: Good. This looks so hard. Tybias: Wish me luck mum! Lisa: GOOD LUCK! …Not everything was as it seemed as I had switched some of the items around leaving Tybias confused. Whenever Tybias got an item (which was pure luck), he would celebrate as so… get surfboard and put in pouch Tybias: FUCKING HELL FUCK ME TALLULAH FUCK YES! Tybias: Yes! YES! YESMUDDAFUCKAR! Sorry I get vocal when I get excited. Now to find these damn spices... …and then became stuck as they were trying to find where the spices were located. Amazingly, Tybias ran out into 4th and sailed out for the detour. However, they did one of the biggest power shifts in the game by… WE CHOOSE TO YIELD JULIE AND ADELAIDE! Tybias: We're not really sorry for doing this. Lisa: Yeah, because we'll be saving our friends. Tybias: Actually, I kinda feel bad. Lisa: Oh wells, let's get out of here! run to place where people are having sex …the pair pitched condoms to unwilling couples with Lisa coming out of her shell to say such messages as… Lisa: Hello people, I'm here to talk about...GOODNESS ME PUT IT AWAY! The nerve of you people, to think that you could just mate like that in front of me...and WITHOUT A CONDOM!? Do you know how disGUSTing that is? I must admit, the first time I did it was without one...AND LOOK HOW THAT TURNED OUT! cut to Tybias picking his nose Without a condom, my vajayjay was seriously as dry as sandpaper and my husbands peepee didn't feel so well after that. Tybias: throws up a bit in his mouth …the pair checked in 7th, saved Ray & Betty, and eliminated their enemies and former intersection partners. At this point in the game, At this point in the game, they were strong players, but their luck would quickly unfold in the next few legs. In Australia, the pair really did nothing of note (really no one did) and checked in 4th. In Kyrgyzstan, the team showed their true competitiveness… Tybias: Drive to...c-rack-hole? Lisa: TOBY! Tybias: NO! I'm serious, that's what it says - crackhole! Lisa: What kind of name is that? …and proceeded to drive in circles with their marshrutka. At the intersection their alliance came into full bloom as they intersected with Ray & Betty.,, Lisa: Oh, the camera wasn't on us last time. Tybias: Again. Say it again! We choose to intersect with BETTY AND RAYMOND!!!!!!!! …and the pair managed to do well at the carcass detour… Tybias: We shoot... Lisa: AND WE SCORE! WOO! Way to go guys! Confessional Tybias: That detour was tres fun. A bit gross, but still, totally fun. …the roadblock was not difficult for the pair as they managed to get an easy excerpt. The pair then checked in 4th and then whisked their way to Iran. The team took the Fast Forward, which required them to get henna… get mehandi on hands Lisa: Are you serious!? I'm not getting that! Tybias: I don't think it's permanent mum! See, it comes from that tube there? Lisa: Phew. Ok I'm fine with that then. Confessional Lisa: I did not want to bear those marks my whole life. What would my friends say!? Tybias: My friends would cut my hand off. Only because I'd ask them to. …and the pair unsurprisingly checked in 1st. They then went to Somalia where Tybias had a little too much to drink… Tybias: The clue is up your butt hehe. Lisa: TOBY! What's gotten into you? Tybias: Oh a couple of gin and tonic's thanks to our allies. …and then proceeded to get a little crazy at the bombing roadblock… Tybias: Bomb that one! THAT ONE! Lisa: My goodness he's gone crazy. Tybias: cackles None shall escape my wrath! Tybias: Hell yeah I hit one! Lisa: Wow, his crazy spiel did work. GOOD JOB TOBY! ONE MORE! Tybias: Let's finish this shit. …after flying to Djibouti, the pair then finished the detour by completing the one with money and raced the roommates to the finish… Lisa: Look it's Lydia and Tallulah! Tybias: Hey shexshy ladies! Motorbike race! Lisa: Toby no! Tybias crashes through a fruit stand Tybias: I'm ok, I'm ok. …they outraced them in the end and the pair finally checked in 3rd. After the leg, the pair did one of the dumbest moves ever. It is almost the same as Toni and Dallas losing their passports, because it ended up knocking Lisa & Tybias out of the game. DDU was unable to attend the next leg and then proceeded to hand out money, thinking it was an elimination leg… After much umming and aahhing I've decided that I'm 90% sure it's not going to be a NEL simply because of the gap in between that and the leg after, so... gives 890 DJF to Betty and Raymond gives 890 DJF to Tallulah and Lydia (because they really really need it) 4,452 DJF - 1780 DJF = 2,672 DJF Sao Tome and Principe, Leg 12, turned out to be a NEL, and the pair were saved, but now with a lack of cash. And the pair's fate had turned for the worse. They were still happy though… Tybias: LOL we're saved! Lisa: What the fuck? WHAT THE FUCK!? YES!!!! Tybias: Calm down mum, I don't think we're going to survive the next leg anyway. We're sort of broke and we have to do a Speed Bump. Lisa: Please let it be yoga! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE! Tybias: Oh look, it's Betty and Raymond. Hello fellow Aussie peeps. Lisa: I really wish we could have run the last leg. Toby would have really liked getting drunk. Tybias: Mum, you can't even drink a glass of port without passing out. Lisa: So? I'm Asian! It's not my fault! Tybias: Whatever. Uhhhh, I'm so sunburnt. Where's Tallulah? I need her to rub some lotion over me. Betty: I can do it! Tybias: shudders …the pair got onto the second plane and quickly blitzed the roadblock. At the speed bump, they needed to order all South American countries by the year they achieved independence. However, no one yielded or U-Turned anyone. ANYONE. Any teams with the exception of Lisa & Tybias yielded and U-Turned would have saved them. With little money and no yields and U-Turns to use, the pair took the slowest transportation and came out of the detour dead last. Despite an edited race to make it seem close, the pair checked in last and were eliminated finally in 5th. Why They Deserve to be on All-Stars: Lisa & Tybias were real. They were the most realistic and endearing team of any season. Maybe some would consider them overrated, but the fact is that they don't receive a lot of attention. They don't pop out as some of the other teams, but they were such a fun and emotional read that if you reread them specifically in mind, they showed their awesomeness. Seriously, they deserved to get in the Final 3 with their competitiveness. However, one dumb move and it cost them the game. Considering the Final 4 (with the exception of Boomie & Whatevia), Lisa & Tybias could have edged anyone out to head to Alaska. Alas, not. Anyone shocked to see Lisa & Tybias? Enough of the nice people. It's time to see someone nasty.
